Placed an order and paid in full. Couple days later, I was asked to upload a prescription "for checking" but was also asked whether I wanted to upgrade to more expenses lenses. I provided the prescription. Several weeks later, no glasses. I inquired why, and the reason given was they were awaiting my confirmation that I wanted the lens upgrade! What a disgrace, how about the customer knows what they want? Formal complaint now raised

Glass Frames supplied started to lose the colur colouring after on;y 2 weeks! Clearly a coating rather than part of the plastic! Company immediately to;d me that it was 'my damage' despoite their No Quibble guarantee.....

First discovered G2Y about ten years ago and have used 5 maybe 6 times since including a pair received a week ago. In all those orders, I have saved a fortune and always been impressed by the quality. I did have one problem once which actually turned out to be my fault. It was the way they treated me on that occasion that turned my into a long term customer. They couldn't have done more for me. Nothing was too much trouble and I personally think that's rare online. Will continue to use and always recommend to family and friends. Keep it up G2Y!

The customer service is the best I have had and the products are really good. They have saved me lots of money over the years and I would totally recommend them.

I have been ordering glasses with almost exactly the same prescription for 20 years.( I am strongly nearsighted.) I have three pairs of glasses of almost the same exact shape with the same prescription. In comparing the thickness of the edges of the glasses made by Glasses2you it is clear to me that they are approximately 1/3 thicker than other glasses of very similar shape with supposedly the same refractive index of 1.74. Thus I am positive that I was cheated by paying for the 1.74 index lenses and receiving instead lenses with refractive index of either 1.5 or 1.56. First they claimed that was because the frames they glazed were rimless as opposed to semi-rimless or rimmed. Then they sent some formula as an excuse for the lack of logic in their reasoning for why their glasses were one third thicker at the edges. Buyer beware!

glasses2you - A Total Waste of time.

After an eye test at Boots Opticians I filled in the necessary glasses2you form using the information from the Boots prescription.

After waiting some 10 to 14 days the glasses arrived but the lenses were incorrect. I returned them TOGETHER WITH A COPY OF THE BOOTS PRESCRIPTION and some days later received a reply stating that I had not provided certain information on the original form and therefore the lenses were incorrect.

I checked my copy of the form which I had sent and could not find any part which required this additional information to be entered.

A further 10 days or so later another pair of glasses arrived - again INCORRECT.

I was then asked to pay a further aprox £14.00 as I was told it was again my fault that the lenses in this this pair were also incorrect.

I paid the additional amount required and sent a SECOND copy of the Boots prescription.

The glasses arrived some 2 weeks later this time corrected.

It took over a 5 weeks to get the correct glasses and in the interim I had to buy a pair from Boots Opticians which were just £6.00 more expensive than the original glasses2you price, they took 3 days to arrive and were far BETTER QUALITY lenses and frames.

Ordered 2 variations (distance glasses & reading glasses) of ladies specs from a single, rather unusual, prescription. Website had very comprehensive information and advice. The 'try them on' feature was novel, and useful confirmation. Good choice of styles and price range. I could select all coatings and variations needed.

Received a concerned phone call requesting confirmation of the unusual prescription...a caring touch, I thought.

Received a 2 for 1 offer (unexpectedly). Safely packaged. User very satisfied. Saved a fortune in time and money compared with High St opticians only concerned with fleecing the customer with vague 'fashion' statements and steering them towards the expensive frames.

Wouldn't go anywhere else now.

I've bought glasses from several different online shops over the years, but Glasses2you take the honours and I now don't go anywhere else.

The quality is excellent (even the budget specs)and prices very competitive.

Easy to order - all the dimensions are there & the pictures are true (elsewhere i've often been disappointed)

Glasses always arrive very quickly & have never had any of the feeble excuses offered by other companies.
