Emailed several times to ask questions on lenses and other questions in relation to a purchase. No response after several days. Presumably the person managing customer correspondence has no personal investment in the business, and is doing everything he can not to make a sale.

Spectacles were not packaged properly and slight lens scratching.

Ordered a pair of Oakley glasses from them and the frame was a good fit and very comfortable. the sales girl was excellent in her service. however after I got home I noticed that one of the lenses had a scratch on the inside of the lense, went back and they replaced it, however I noticed that the other lense had been smoothed incorrectly.

I left the glasses and went to work.

I received a call that night from the store manager saying that he refunded my money to my card as obviously my standards are higher than his. When I questioned him he said we obviously not the company for you and you are not the customer we need.

I was absolutely disgusted at his attitude and if that how he feels if a customer has an issue I would definitely not recommend this company.

This is for the Edinburgh branch. I ordered some Rayban frames and spoke to customer service to see when they would be dispatched as I needed them quickly for a holiday. They couldn't arrange the coated transition lenses for next day delivery but offered to send some out with regular lenses and then return them after my hol's to fit the other lenses- how great is that. It wasn't necessary as they arranged for the coated/transition lenses for delivery for the morning I went away and they turned up exactly when they said. Such friendly, helpful service and quick considering the special order.

I ordered rayban sunglasses from spectacles direct. They were very efficient I was told 5 working days but recieved them in 2 working days! They were delivered in perfect condition and I literally cannot fault the company itself. I never write review but I was so happy with the service I had to write one and having read all the other reviews I can see I'm not the only one who is pleased. I have had a bad experience ordering sunglasses online before from a fraud website so given the circumstances, was very anxious to use another online website to purchase again. I Highly recommended this site, no faults what so ever! :)

I ordered a pair of prescription Ray Ban glasses on Wednesday morning and received them on Thursday morning. And this in the week before Xmas. The products are excellent as is the service. My glasses were provided together with a designer case and cloths. Excellent service, excellent value. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for designer spectacles and at prices that the high street cannot come near to.

At first I was a bit unsure due to the basic web page design (lacking of details/options information/explanation like type of lenses..) Once I ordered, the customer service is of the top I have face in my life! Very friendly, polite and extremely helpful! (They just do not process the order right away, first they contact you and make double checking on your prescription/details and help you to understand every detail you might not know. Is excellent procedure!) The quality & price of the product is simply awesome! These people are not just making business, they actually care pretty much about you eye vision and satisfaction with an overall high quality & low price product! Couldnt fault your Company - Perfect - from choosing my frames and inputting my prescription was so quick and easy. The choice of frames was a good. I dont know whether I would choose expensive frames without trying them on but for basic models this was not a problem. Well done - I am sure you do well.

This is the third pair of specs I've purchased from Spectacles Direct. As before I'm delighted in every respect. The website is easy to navigate and entering prescription details is easy. The service is incredibly fast; I received my specs, well packaged, within four days of ordering. They are very well made (and even have spring sides which wasn't stated in the description), and were supplied in a good quality rigid carrying case.
