Last weekend I went to the just for pets store. Living in Malvern I understand that the firm faces a lot of competition, however I can tell you that just for pets was the best pet shop amongst them all by far. Since the refurbishment, I am amazed by the new reptile unit; in particular, the customer service along side.

One particular lad welcomed me with a pleasant smile and conversation about our love for animals (Nothing I'd get down the road!)

I would strongly recommend that you should shop at just for pets; you will honestly struggle to find anything better.

I have purchased several fish and aquatic plants from them all of which have infected my aquarium with, bladder snails, white spot and also DGIV (incurable virus from breeding of bad stock). I have lost several fish I even went to the store and was told all their stock is treated, clearly not because my aquarium was fine until purchasing from them. They also house the wrong species with each other causing death and many of times they have dead fish in the tanks. They also sell non-aquatic plants as aquatic this results in the plant dying and causing ammonia spikes also killing the fish. I have also been witness to incorrect advice being given to new time keepers and they themselves have no idea for the requirements of certain animals and their requirements. I would avoid this place if your intention is for fish or fish related things.(Nottingham)

DONT BUY (Stourbridge) from these People, i went in today and they are selling puppy milk dated 23rd Jan, the lady said its ok to sell as they have reduced it, I DONT THINK IT WOULD BE OK IF I FED IT TO MY PUPPY AND SHE GOT ILL, I WILL NEVER GO IN THERE AGAIN

If you are thinking of purchasing a small furry pet for your family, you must go to their Malvern Store. The Livestock Supervisor there certainly knows her stuff and will make sure you leave with the perfect pet. She told us she personally inspects all the breeders they locally source their rabbits and guinea pigs from and there is no question she can't answer. She obviously loves animals and she is kind and considerate. My children loved the way she interaccted with them and the after care and commitment to us is brilliant.

I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Recently went to this shop with my 6 year old niece to purchase 2 gerbils as a present for her. We had already purchased a cage from another source and it was highly recommended by the RSPCA as totally suitable to house gerbils safely and securely. She chose 2 gerbils and along came an assistant with the usual list of questions that they ask. I have no problem with this as I understand that they like to make sure the animals they sell are going to be looked after properly. Almost straight away we were told our cage wasn't suitable and we would have to purchase a cage from them. I said no and explained our cage was perfectly fine and I wasn't prepared to buy another one. The assistant then refused to sell us the gerbils. My niece burst into tears and was very distressed. I was fuming as told him how ridiculous it was. I have been keeping animals for over 40 years and all have been loved and well looked after. We left in disgust and went to another shop where we were happily sold 2 gerbils and told the cage we had already got was in fact the one they recommend!

I bought the Ferplast Criceti 15 on their online store, I did make a mistake and pay for it twice (eek) with which they refunded me very swiftly and were very helpful.

My syrian hamster loves this cage as I can put loads of toys in it and add tubes etc, It also has a pretty deep base so she can dig to her hearts content!

Only issue with this cage (I work in a pet shop and I know this is sometimes an issue with ferplast) is there was one part missing, the latch for the top door, but this is ok as i have tons spare from the cages said hamster has destroyed ha!

Over all, very happy, used before and will use again!

Just for pets is a horrendous, vile store. The shop assistants were shockingly rude and the service was appalling. I have never been in such a disgrace of a shop in all my life. I walked in and the first thing I noticed was the lack of help for such a large shop, they fake smiled at me the second I came in the door then looked me up and down. I asked them where something was and they just said 'over there' didn't even point. I asked them questions politely half the time they ignored me or scoffed, their unhygienic appearances and lack of knowledge on the animals they are providing for and the pets they are selling is outrageous. They had hamsters in the tiniest of tanks which were filthy they hadn't even been sexed properly and they had no idea on their ages either.

I have Dyslexia and I asked the girl to help me with some of the tiny print on the back of rabbit vitamins and she said 'people with learning difficulties shouldn't be allowed to have pets' which I was so angry with I stormed out of the shop and will never return. I was horrified by their lack of interest and hygiene for the animals. They even asked me for ID for buying pet food which is shocking a I am 18 and anyone can buy pet food, they have said some seriously offensive things to me and have upset me so much I was almost in tears and left the shop. I go in that shop a lot for various different things.I will never return and it has been several different just for pet stores that have done this to myself and other people. The website is no better as the stuff never arrives and is always broken.

Found this website very easy to use and navigate. At the moment there is a discount on the Royal Canin product I usually buy, so it works out to be one of the cheapest around.

Delivery was on time.
