Pets R Wright, Preston, Hull

Bought 5 tropical fish from this shop at just over £15. After two days in my community tank I noticed that 3 of the said fish had white spot. The infection was so bad , and even after treating them, it has wiped out my whole tank. I will not be buying from them again.

Visited the store today, saw chicken in a hutch that was suitable for a maximum of 6, had around 30 chickens in squashed side by side with no space to move. said to my partner that's way too many in there, the owner overheard me, a small women and said we know nothing (by swearing) all and was asked to leave. She did this in a violent manner, threatening with police action and when my partner had her phone in her hand to read a text message she went to snatch her phone from her hand and pushed us out the shop.

I was totally appalled today, this is the first and last time that I have been to this place. I have never seen anything so bad, the state of the poor fish are in their either dead already or nearly dead. It is disgusting im very shocked that this company are aloud to stay open. The whole was dirty and smelt awful. The poor other animals I didn't look closely at them but I can imagine what they are like. My little boy was upset seeingall of fish look as bad as they did. The water in the tanks was grey and so dirty.

I've been reading these poor reviews, I think these costumers may of got out the wrong side of the bed. I have been visiting Pets R Right for years and I am a lover of animal of all kinds, I keep tropical fish and I have a GS dog, the staff that work there are polite and if you need advise they give you their undivided attention. I buy dog food and sometimes toys, fish food and ornaments for the tank and I have NEVER had diseased fish... They get the thumbs from me :-)

I have visited Pet R Wright a few times now and found that I am never let down. The staff are pleasant and really know there stuff, the owner's are cheerful and polite. I came in to buy some fish and new filter for my tank and a young lady helped me understand the type I needed for my tank and showed me how to clean it regularly. She told me they just had a delivery of fish and they all seem healthy, but if we had any problems over the next 24 hours to give her a call, the fish were fine and seemed to have really brightened up my tank, and it's never been cleaner! My dog loves it there too, she always gets a treat and a cuddle from the staff. If you want a personal service, shop here! Seen lots of new info on there facebook page too, someone must of started paying attention to it again :)

people may say this shop is horrible but they are rather wrong! I come in to be welcomed and asked if I would like help, they tour me around their clean healthy shop. Telling me all the things I need for the pet and they are awesome! They let you play with there cute rabbits and birds. People are saying it is bad because they have probably offended the shop in some way, making the workers mad because they know their shop is amazing which it is!
