Myself and my partner purchased two corn snakes from realm of reptiles in northamton recently! (January 2014!) along with the set up to keep them in! The staff here are absolutely superb! They have both knowledge and compassion for the animals in their care :) and when I returned to purchase a second vivarium as my partner and I split up and I wanted to keep sidney my corn snake :) they spent no end of time and patience on helping me get this sorted! I think their reputation says it all! I was told prior to ever going there by a man that lived in Milton Keynes that Northampton reptile centre was excellent and I was not disappointed! And that was coming from an ex veterinary nurse that specialised in reptiles :)

Personally I would not go anywhere else as I trust the staff's advice and knowledge on all things reptile :)

I've been a customer of Realm Of Reptiles since day one and I thought I would share my experience with the world.........Realm Of Reptiles Coventry is one of the best if not the best reptile shop I've been in. I've been keeping reptiles myself for over 20 years and have experienced good and bad advice from reptile shops around the UK...But Realm Of Reptiles have done nothing but give me solid advice from the start, with a kind and warm welcoming a soon as you step through the door Realm Of Reptiles Coventry Get a 10/10 from me. :)

I recently purchased my crested gecko for RoR the prices were very reasonable i was surprised to see a reptile shop this clean they provide a 30 day free trial for reptile insurance they are really helpful overall i would recommend getting your amphibian/reptiles from here :)

I am a regular visitor to Coventry branch, where the staff always greet you with a smile, it really is more like going to visit friends than shopping! I initially visited on the recommendation of a friend, and have not visited another reptile store since. They are so in touch with their customers, not only remembering their names, but the names of the pets that you are going shopping for!!! And my bearded dragon was not even purchased from realm. I initially popped in for some advice, as everything I had previously been told was so conflicting, they advice they gave was brilliant, and they did not once try to sell me anything. They regularly go over and above the call of duty, and the animals welfare is clearly their first priority, if I was to purchase another reptile I would without a doubt purchase it from here. With the Facebook page, that is regularly manned you can get advice of them at any time of day, which as due to work commitments I can only go once a week is invaluable, and really makes you feel like you are part of the realm family, and not just another customer. As I can only visit weekly, they always ensures that what ever live food I need is always in stock for me by doing a special bulk order, which was initially suggested to save me money as I have one very greedy beardy, again I feel this was putting customer needs above sales. I really can not praise this store and its staff enough, I'm lucky that I live local, but would happily travel to receive the level of service I get here if they were further away.

My husband and i took a gamble by visiting the shop based in Coventry. We needed to find a better supplier for reptiles food,and basically all round good value to purchase further reptiles and equipment. Not only are the prices good and quality well above average compared to other shops in Warwickshire we had previously tried. But being a wheelchair user, for once i did not have to sit outside or be confined to one area of the shop. Everything was accessible and if i wanted anything or view something that was out of reach. Then the staff were only to happy to help. They offered good advice and if they didn't have what we needed, they again went our their way to get it. Definitely worth travelling from Alcester for. Lol. As for taking young children in there, i felt very confident allowing my children to look at the animals. The staff were very friendly and answered their questions and allowed the children to hold the animals and encouraging them to be hands on with the animals. Fabulous and keep the good work up.

I regularly visit the Coventry branch of Realm of Reptiles to buy food for our Praying Mantis. It is the one shopping stop in our week where my children beg to come along and we are always greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. The shop is super-clean, doesn't smell (this is critical in a reptile shop as they tend to be a bit pongy!), and is really well stocked with livestock and all that is needed to care for insects, arachnids, reptiles, etc. The staff are knowledgable and keen to offer help and advice and I was particularly impressed when that advice actually resulted in me not buying the live food I went in for, thus depriving them of a sale - the proper care of creatures is clearly of utmost importance to the staff. We are regularly shown interesting things (spider 'moults' or a fantastic picture on their large screen monitor of creatures they've had in the shop) or new creatures when we go in, not in a way that suggests a 'hard sell' but in a way that makes us feel part of the 'Realm of Reptiles' community (the Facebook page also ensure this). Coventry and the surrounding area is actually quite well served with reptile shops but we will never shop anywhere else, even if this menat driving out of our way. Not to wish away our beloved Mantis, but we can't help window shopping when we go in and we will definitely be buying our next pet from Realm of Reptiles!

We do not have many specialist reptile shops where I live, so I was sceptical to try anywhere new for advice - however I found the staff at Realm of Reptiles (Milton Keynes), particularly Duncan, very helpful and knowledgable. I popped in simply for some guidance and a basking light and left feeling confident with the advice given. Will certainly recommend!!

Friendly and inviting atmosphere, staff eager and willing to share there wealth of knowledge with you and any questions no matter how small or seemingly silly are dealt with in a professional and helpful manner. The store in bletchley has become a second home for the last year and have recommended it to all friends and family and will continue to do so.

Went to the opening day at the new Coventry Realm of Reptiles store to see what it was like. I didn't intend to buy anything, but came away with a setup and some new tree frogs.

The staff there are very friendly and were helpful without being pushy which made the whole experience perfect for me.

My only criticism would be that the shop got crowded at times because it's not the largest, but it wasn't a bid deal.

I will go back, well worth the 30 mile drive.
