Do Not Buy From This Company
Just read the reviews below & quite lucky that I received my product albeit not what I ordered though!! Been trying to contact them to change the goods, managed to get through once, said they hadn't received my emails.., yeah right! Apologised & said the correct product would be sent very quickly, that was nearly 3 weeks ago & can't get through on the phone now, not responding to emails.
Can't understand how this company is still trading.
Avoid At All Cost!!
Ordered £30 worth of items from this website got a confirmation email to say they accepted the order.
Have emailed them all week surprise surprise NO REPLY!! Phone no such number!! NOT received goods and from other reviews looks like I'm not gonna get!!!
Ok I will do thankyou just cannot understand though how they can still be advertising the website and take your money and it hasn't already been shut down!!!
Report your loss to Trading Standards. They will add you to the complaint against this company - I lost £251. It firstly goes through Citizens Advice Bureau who will then direct you through to Trading Standards.
You must report it to Trading Standards - I lost £251 - Trading Standards have asked that others also report this company too.

As Bad As It Gets
I ordered a dog toilet tray couple weeks ago. Never heard from company even though they took my money. Didn't respond to my emails and the number is disconnected. Stay away always phone company and check this review website before buying and pay by PayPal only.

I ordered item on 3rd december ,they emailed on 5th december to say item wasnt in stock so would refund £60 back into my account within 7 - 10 working days . When i tried to phone customer service this morning the number wasnt recognised so i knew something was up . If you look at the bottom of their webside you will see the company is owned by HUAN. which own umpteen companies involved in everything from garden centres to cleaning companiies , when i went on a site about registered companies said Huan ,the online petstore has been disolved from today , they have known this was going to happen for a long time but kept taking orders and peoples money I paid by mastercard so hopefully will get my money back . a waste of time going to the shop in edinburgh as isnt there .,just an office which will be shut

Theonlinepetstore.co.uk. They have literally ruined Christmas for me and my partner. Ordered the liberta rat cage for £130. Ordered on the 16/12/13 was told 3 days on delivery, was given email conformation on its despatch it is meant to be delivered today, it is now 3.00pm and from reading reviews I don't believe it will ever be delivered. If delivered will take back my review. If not luckily for me I live 20 minutes away from there head office In Edinburgh and will be dropping in for a ''visit''
my partner and I have found an alternative phone number for them Which seems to be working but not being answered!
Sought out advise from citizens advise and was told to cancel order through bank which could take up to 15 day. Which means I wont be receiving ANYTHING for Christmas and £130 pound is gone at the time of the year we need the money the most.
0 out of ten. If I could score lower I would!
Should have closed website down if not open any more and they will be paying for this!

OK for anyone who may make the same mistake I did, Theonlinepetstore and ALL other companies that were once ran by huan have been dissolved. They only company I see that is still being run (Into the ground) Is Shh..co.uk.

Appears To Be Shut Down Do Not Use
I placed a order 24/11/13 on the 27/11/13 I called to check on the status of my order and was told it had been dispatched the day before.
It is now 02/12/13 and their 0845 phone number is non functional and they are not responding to E-mails.
I have put the order into dispute and now have to wait 30 days to get my money back from the credit card company.

Ordered a Chinchilla cage 7th November and it said in the information it would be approximately 3 days. Still not arrived! This company do not answer e-mail requests for information (have sent 4) and when I rang help line yesterday number is coming up as unobtainable. Did manage to speak to someone several week ago who promised order would be sorted and I would be kept informed of progress. Not heard anything and have now contacted Bank and Trading Standards to try and get my money back! Clearly not fulfilling the very impressive information they give on line about providing excellent customer service!! Will never buy anything from this company again

Avoid Like The Bubonic Plague
Order placed on the 7/10/2013. The date is now 17/10/2013. I ordered a parrot cage, and had confirmation saying that the order had gone through and the cage had been dispatched. Had it been dispatched? No, and yet when you ring up you are assured by the customer service department that the product, in this case a cage has been delivered.
It has now been 10 days, yes 10 days and still NOTHING!!!! Even though I have been assured that this cage was on it's way to be delivered.
Avoid this company at all costs, and if you want any pet supplies, stick to the pet shop in Bolton where Mr Palin bought his parrot from.
This company is more like Fawlty Towers of the pet shop world.....

Double Ordered Product, Now Won't Refund
The website glitched and double ordered my product. I cancelled one but they still haven't sent the refund, which is for £170. Suspect this is deliberate theft.
OMG. They are trying to get two payments. Told me that my payment had failed to process and to place the order again. Checked with my bank and it went through first time. Feb. 2014. Company is trading - taking your money and not despatching any goods. Lost £250.
At least they answered your emails and phone calls. I can't get them to respond at all and am worried that they are a fraudulent company.

Why is the onlinepetstore allowed to trade when it does not send out any ordered items? Not only that, they claim to have a problem with one's payment and asks you to re-order, so obtaining two amounts before one is aware that this company ceased to honour its orders from August last year? Luckily I only paid once, having checked with my Bank. Everyday, other victims are fleeced of their hard-earned money in placing orders which they will never receive! How long can this company continue in this practice? They wilfully took £251 from me! A practice they continue in every day.
I also ordered from them and they took my money , then sent me an email saying the item was no longer in stock and asked if i wanted a similar item which was more expensive, i replied no and would like a refund. They sent me an email to say it was in the process of being refunded, after 2 weeks no refund so i tried to phone them but the line was dead. After some investigation into this company i found out it had been disolved. Luckily i had paid by mastercard and they managed to get my money back
