Found the site easy to use, quotes were good and process easy. Promised a voucher from Get Geared which never arrived. Rang up, on hold for ages, transferred several times before finally being given the right number. Asked about the voucher and was told there was nothing they could do. This was a word beginning with c, ending with n, with the letter o in the middle but I was not allowed to use that word in the review! Shame because the online process was good. Poor follow up customer service

avoid at all costs un helpful staff and a rip-off ask to swap over the policy from one bike to another and was told it would cost more to swap then was previously qouted for a years policy

I tried to insure my moped with these people and after two days they told me i could be insured with them which i had no problem with, But to be then told that they will then charge me my deposit plus an extra £25 for the underwriters was completely unaaceptable. I spent 26 minutes on the phone and 20 minutes of it was spent on hold

The Bike insurer calls only mobile bill this month were in excess of £8 these calls did not end up in an insurance policy either. They describe themselves as a broker but can only actually arrange cover for one company which own the bike insurer company and this is more expensive than the cheapest quote they offer you - it has added legal cover and personal injury which did not seem to be optional. In fact if you want to chose the cheapest cover they only transfer you on to another broker company where you are required to start all over again - still on their premium rate telephone number!! Stay away!!

Cheap and what I needed. Easy to complete online. Not bothered by lots of emails.

I Ride a Kawasaki ZX9R C2, V Plate registered in September 1999. I am 53 years old.

Having being with Carole Nash insurance for 10 Years,with no claims or convictions (apart from a couple of speeding 3 pointers at the beginning) they upped the minimum excess from £100 to £500 and the cost of my insurance to £220 from £195.

Time to look around... so I worked with the Bike Insurer Website to collate some alternative quotes.

Bennetts came back at £140 for the year with a £300 excess.

Game over.

All good. The site layout and use was easy and the costs were competitive.

Although the actual insurance policy price was great, the cost of the European Cover was almost as much. I also do not understand why when you want to travel in Europe you have to contact you to confirm this!!!!! Just more hassel & another thing to do before you go.
