I was searching online for some new boots and came across shoe-mad.com. I found a gorgeous pair of knee length boots and ordered them straight away.

The website has great pictures of the products and I was really impressed with the detail of the descriptions.

I'd never heard of shoe-mad until I came across them on the web the other day. I'm always a little apprehensive when trying a new web site for the first time but the prices are so good I decided to take the plunge. Now, there are a lot of shoes on the site so there is a certain amount of picking your way through to find the good ones but there are plenty of them if you persist. I bought a pair of red patent platforms and they arrived as expected and as described - they're a great addition to my wardrobe!

Just before Christmas 2008 I was in Tenerife for a week (a bit of business and plenty of pleasure) and so feeling guilty about the wife not being there and her freezing away back in the UK, during one of our regular phone conversations I suggested I might get her a present whilst I was away - judging by the response I think that was wise. It was while checking my emails at the local internet cafe that I had a brainwave - I don't have many so I sat up and took notice: What if I could organise for her to receive her present while I was away? There was method in my madness - the Pound was suffering badly against the Euro and so it made sense to buy something online from the UK. I knew I couldn't go wrong with shoes - she loves shoes - in fact I don't really know what she does with them all! I bought her a pair of patent black leather boots from www.shoe-mad.com - the beauty of this site is that all there shoes are displayed by size so even I can't go wrong. I realised after buying that I hadn't asked how long deliver would be so I fired off a quick email and I was gratified to find a reply an hour or so later to say that they should take no more than a couple of days. The wife picked me up wearing her black leather boots and a huge smile! Well she had clothes on in between obviously, but you get the gist. I think Shoe Mad will become a household name on shoe retail - they've got all the big names in ladies shoes and a good selection of men's as well.
