I have used these guys twice and on both occasions the service has been excellent. About a year ago I ordered a pair of Meindl boots on the phone as they had the best price on the internet by far and even included free postage. The boots arrived in 2 days which is really good as I live in a fairly remote area.

The second occasion was last week when I drove down to Montrose to buy another pair, as they are still the cheapest by far.

The staff were friendly and chatted away quite the thing - they are obviously shooters themselves and knowledgeable about their products and it's intended use. People are quick to post reviews when things go wrong and having read some of the negative reviews I wish I had posted earlier. I have found the price, products and service first class.

Fantastic service. Great product. I wish more companies were like this.

Having read pretty negative reviews on hear regarding Montrose guns and tackle I was a bit dubious of ordering.

However I can not fault the service - best price I could find on the internet, free postage - delivered in two days to the highlands - can't recommend highly enough.

Rude, unhelpful and at-best indifferent service to say the least. Prices are scandalous, knowledge levels are woeful, and customer service is appalling. Will never set foot in the shop again, and would heartily recommend that no-one else does either. Manager/owner gave the distinct impression that customers were at best an inconvenience

Absolutely terrible. Ordered a pair of boots two weeks ago. Was told they'd be posted on the Thursday. The money left my account on Friday. It's now Wednesday and no boots! Phoned the shop and was given short shrift to say the least. Would definitely not recommend.

purchased a hawke rangefinder 600 lrf. offered the best price by £11 & freepost. ordered late on a monday night & arrived friday. could improve service with more comunication, only received an auto confirmation of order. would have been nice to know it had been posted, but overall happy with the service.

I recently ordered 4 different pairs of walking boots for our family from this website, the following day I received a short email from them stating that the boots were out of stock and therefore my order had been cancelled. I replied querying whether all 4 styles/sizes were out of stock, and I never received a reply. They all still appear on the website as being in stock.
