Awful Customer Service
Terrible customer service. I paid for a signed-for delivery and the delivery was made, but left on the doorstep. Another courier (who was supposed to collect a parcel from next door), then mistakenly took it. It was subsequently lost. The law states that packages are only considered delivered when they are in the possession of the customer. The contract between myself and Newitts is entirely separate to their contract with FedEx, who claim it was signed for (by me, whilst I was at work! Plus I’ve sent video evidence to Newitts proving that this didn’t happen). They don’t care. Their default position seems to be ‘the customer is wrong’. Small claims court here we come

I'm getting to the point in my life where online shopping has become so much cheaper and easier than high street shopping, but you always run the risk of poor delivery times or bad customer service. I tried Newitts recently as I needed a gift for someone really into pilates, and a price comparison site listed Newitts as having the lowest price. Since they were on a cashback website I use too, I gave them a try. I placed my order on a Thursday, and I had it by Tuesday, even with choosing the free standard shipping AND it was the run-up to Christmas. When I thought an item was missing from my order I phoned them and got straight through. Turns out the item was in my package, I had just overlooked it. So good price, cashback, fast delivery, a phone number that works and good customer service? Meets my criteria to recommend!
