Expensive Postage And Returns
DONT ORDER FROM THIS SITE UNLESS YOU KNOW YOU ARE GOING TO BE HAPPY WITH SIZE ETC AS IT COST NEARLY A FIVER DELIVERY AND FIVER RETURN WHICH IS EXPENSIVE TO TRY SOMETHING THAT TURNS OUT TO BE UNSUITABLE.

I could bore you all with another tale of woe but basically this company is amateurish at best. Next day delivery with them translates to not even having a confirmation of dispatch email on the agreed delivery day let alone take receipt of goods (£1500 binos). Their laughingly called customer service phone line just doesn't get answered so you can't even chase it up - probably as they're out on the ranch rounding up cattle. Just avoid.

I Ordered A Pair Of Binoculars That They Didn't Ac
I ordered a pair of binoculars that they didn't actually have in stock. This only came to light having taken a day off work to be in to receive the parcel and subsequent email and telephone conversations. A really bad and unsatisfactory experience.

Just like to take a moment to praise a great service from Uttings. Ordered Monday morning, it arrived Tuesday morning. And I had emails to inform me of it's progress and when it would be delivered.
I highly recommend Uttings.
Expensive Returns
I ordered some boots which arrived straight away. However, they didn't fit. I had seen that Uttings offered collect+ returns, which is a great service. HOWEVER! It is hidden in the small print on the site that you have to pay almost £5 to return the item through collect+. I paid around that for delivery, so I feel very out of pocket. Uttings should be much clearer about their returns policy on their site I think.

Hooray, best service ever.I ordered some binoculars that came in almost £20 under price of other sites. The correspondence was terrific about delivery details, eg. one preference was for the driver to KNOCK LOUDLY and other helpfull idea's. I was notified by e-mail and text as to the delivery time(within 1 hour). It arrived exactly as stated and was so well wrapped, it took a while to open. They were just as described and well worth the money. I am going to visit Utting's now to see what else they sell.

The concept of ordering Air rifle pellets for next day delivery is brilliant. That is where the brilliance ends.
You would anticipate that they would send you instructions for age verification at the point of receiving your conformation email, but no a day later that arrived meaning that the item could not be dispatched till two days following. So next day delivery becomes 4 day delivery and then I was informed the driver would be with me between 19-45-20-45 in the evening? Throughout this process I have received surly emails from the customer service team stating things like "the timing is somewhat academic" and "you ordered well out of hours" I have the flipping conformation email that proves otherwise!!!

Absolutely Great!
From the moment we saw the goods on the website to ordering to delivery the service was first rate. The parcel was delivered next day as promised and we knew the time of delivery and the name and contact no of the driver. As an added bonus the trap worked and we caught our mink! We will certainly know where to go next time.

Quick Replacement Of Faulty Scope.
Ordered a Nikko Mountmaster scope from Uttings, reviewed elsewhere. The covers were damaged before receipt, & within 200 shots a rattling could be heard. Some of the internals had worked loose. Emailed Uttings, returned the item, & had a replacement well within their 7 day target. I had photographed the problems, but had no need to send these.
