Concert Was Cancelled....could Not Get A Refund (o
Concert was cancelled....could not get a refund (only a typical sham run-around on the phone and online). I had to file a complaint with BBB and a my credit card company. DO NOT USE STUBHUB!
I Had Horrible Experience! Do Not Approach The Site!
I had HORRIBLE experience! DO NOT APPROACH THE SITE!
After I bought tickets to a show I could not attend to, I listed them for sale.
Two weeks later I got a notification that my tickets have sold for the price I put them for, so far so good.
A week before the date of the concert, I opened my email to TONS of threats from Stubhub, saying that if I do not upload the tickets, as their customer policy states, I will be charged for either 100% of the ticket's price or for the alternative ticket that Stubhub would have to find in my place.
Confused and shocked, I talked to customer support who said they saw *2 sales* from my account, for the same tickets, at the same date.
I was told that for 1 sale, they uploaded the tickets for me, and marked the other sale as "pending ticket upload"
Let's leave aside the fact that it's even ridiculous that the SAME user can upload 2 listings for the same EVENT, the same SEATS and at the same PRICE. I know that I NEVER made 2 listings for the tickets, but one.
After more than an hour and a half of back and forth with their so-called customer support, they said there's nothing they can do since they see that I made 2 listings. at one point of me begging for help and talking to my bank company they said that I could sue the company but nothing is guaranteed out of it.
to sum things up, I:
1. Paid 2,260$ for 6 concert tickets
2. Was charged for the 6 tickets I "Could not sell": 1,000$ - Meaning I got a total of 1,260$ back.
Be careful!

The Absolute Worst Experience!!! Stay Away From Stubhub
I ordered tickets for the FC Cincinnati Game. On their site and other Internet forums theystate that we will receive tickets in the same manner they were issued. I received an email on 2-22 to accept my tickets. I clicked the link and it went to secure.tickets not Ticketmaster, the original issuer of the tickets. Also, you cannot download them. I reached out and they said someone would send me a correct link and talk to the seller. I waited and hear nothing! I called back and I was told that they would send me the correct link. Nothing…. So I called back and he said that they had not received any communication from the seller but that he would escalate the situation and get my correct tickets resent or I could get a refund. I was sent a new link but again not to Ticketmaster but some random third party website that doesn’t work. I called today! WORST customer service ever!!! I could barely understand the first person who told me that it must be a moving barcode but he would absolutely not refund or replace my tickets and I’d have to wait, which is not what I was told before and also I was never sent a Ticketmaster. As well the seller had not reached back out so why am I paying for that mistake. I asked for a supervisor. He told me I’d have to wait for 3 hrs. I said that’s fine I’ll hold. After lying to me several times he finally put someone on the phone who I doubt was a supervisor. This person was again extremely unhelpful. Again not fully listening to the issue just that I’d have to sit and wait for the venue to release the tickets. This is also a blatant lie. Ticketmaster has issued all of the tickets for this event and again I was given a link for some random website. This supervisor hung up on me. I called back. Again spoke with someone. I tried to again explain and he said that he’d escalate it but if I don’t have them ONE HOUR before I could call back.
This is the worst experience I have EVER had. I have no idea how you can continue to do business like this but I can assure you I will spread the word about the lying, lack of customer service and resolution. It’s truly disgusting!! I bought these as a Christmas present for my son. Truly an awful experience all the way around!!!

Stubhub: Bait And Switch
Stub Hub did the ole Bait and Switch on me when I bought 2 tickets to the Lainey Wilson concert in West Palm Beach Florida on March 2, 2024. The tickets also were to include and premium upgrade for unlimited food and soft drinks during the concert.
Turns out the tickets were for the wrong seats. Instead of VIP Box seats, I got seats in a back section of the floor that were not Box seats and further back at the venue, plus food and beverages were not included.
I requested a refund of my purchase but Stub Hub refused and instead set me a 25% vouchers for my next Stub Hub purchase. This is even after Stub Hub admitted they sent me tickets for the wrong seats and apologized for the wrongly advertising that the tickets did not include food and beverages.
Was not evident from looking at tickets that they were for the wrong seats until we entered the venue and were seated by venue staff. Also, we were required to pay for all food and soft drinks ordered .
StubHub has a FanProtect Guarantee but be sure to read the fine print. Says if they send you the wrong tickets, " its at their sole discretion to issue a refund OR issue you a partial refund" . So guess what, they are not sending you a refund, they opt for a partial refund at their determination. In other words, you are going to get screwed over.

"every Order Is 100% Guaranteed" Is Not What It Means!!!
I would not order from this vendor. I ordered tickets to see a Pantera show, they received payment. I then received a "refund" notice and hour later because the seller could not produce the tickets. Dint find this out until I show up at the door and was faced to by other tickets, of which were not at the GA Floor like the original purchased. At this point there are none of those tickets available.
Completely ruined my night, I walked out early in frustration after customer service at the event venue couldn't do anything to help me either. I wouldn't have even left my house in the first place.
Stub Hug Customer service sucks has downplayed the entire situation. Have done nothing to help make it right. I would highly suggest buying tickets through ANYONE ELSE, because if you have a problem with your tickets like me. They aren't willing to help you out in anyway. This 100% Guarantee is nothing but a false hope, that you will purchase tickets through them and is in fact nothing short of a lie.

Do Not Sell Tickets
I put tickets up for sale. They didn't sell right away. I was going out of country and deactivated my tickets. A week later they said that they sold. They weren't there to sell. Then they charged my credit card $900. Do not list any tickets for sale. I called three times and got disconnected each time. Everyone you get can't understand English. Go to Ticketmaster or another reapable company.
Do Not Sell Tickets Though This Company
I was selling tickets and had sold them minutes before another person try to buy them and they were sold and stub Hub let the second transaction go though and charged me the price I was selling the tickets for. I've been fighting with them about this and they are blaming me. THE WORSE COMPANY EVER!!!!! FYI if you decide to sell tickets put a credit card on your account so you can dispute whatever they feel like they want to charge you for!!

Never There For You
The time on my event was changed so I could not attend. I listed the tickets for sale on their website and they did not sell. I waited for a total of 5 hours on hold for a customer service representative to tell me "sorry you can't attend the event and your tickets didn't sell, but there is nothing we can do for you"...so much for "we will be there for you every step of the way" Not my fault the time was changed, and their reply was...not our fault either. You can give the tickets away or just take the loss of $160.00. We don't care.
Don't ever use Stub Hub...buyer beware...they are most definitely NOT there for you.

Sh Sold My Tickets Twice, The Blamed And Charged Me
I too will not do business with stub hub again. I offered to sell five front row tickets for Lion King on my access page, because I could not attend. I received an Stub Hub email stating that my offer would expire shortly and recommended I lower my price. I accessed my page, lowered the price, and changed delivery to upload the PDF tickets (to speed up deliver). Two tickets sold. Then on one day Stub Hub sold the remaining three tickets twice, once by delivering the PDF copies and once by requesting that I ship them by UPS. After 90 minutes on the phone I learned this: (1) the first service rep could not accurately read the record and could only repeat several pre-scripted lines rudely - each time blaming me for Stub Hub's mistake. I asked that she put me in touch with technical support. She said that this would take at least 2 business days, and Stub Hub was buying tickets for the second buyer and charging me. I instructed her to not do this unit I spoke with technical support. (2) I then spoke with the "supervisor." He said that changing the delivery method was a good idea given the shortened time before the event, but by doing so I created a second offer to sell the same tickets. He inaccurately stated that the "expiration" email told me to delete the original offer. It did stated that I should delete the offer if I had sold the tickets or was using them. He then stated that the system told me that when I changed the price, changing the deliver method created a second offer to sell the same tickets. He said that my access page explained this. It did not. He then admitted that he had never seen this problem before and he could not show me evidence of a warning. He said that it was my duty to discover the second offer even though I had no notice of the problem. He then said that he had performed the technical service analysis (What happened to technical support?). Maybe most importantly, he slipped and said that he had followed the Stub Hub "guidelines" for customer complaints, had no authority to be of further assistance, and Stub Hub had no procedure for offering further help. Lastly, he said that, against my specific instructions to the first person I spoke to, to wait until I could speak with technical support, Stub Hub already had billed my credit card for its cost to find tickets for the buyer.
Selling Ticket
i uploaded photo of my mobile tickets as requested by the stubhub site, they accepted the tickets, a day before the event they cancelled the ticket and charged me £50 saying my ticket was invalid, they did not even try to contact me to explore other options, when I spoke to them, they said my tickets where not in the right format, when I pointed out they had accepted them, they basically said tough, awful service
Q&A
I'm looking for Met tickets for tonight's game. Do they get cheaper when the game time gets closer?
Depending on the event, they may come down a bit, but normally they hold fairly steady. I've even seen prices go up closer to game time. It also depends on where the seats are located and if the less desirable seats sell out, you can expect to pay more.
1-2 days prior is usually the best bet. Have fun!
