Cheaper Offer But Very Slow Delivery
I pre-ordered a computer game console bundle with Toys r us as they were slightly cheaper.
1 day before the release date I received an email indicating I might habe to wait up to 10 more days to receive my order. This is very disappointing when compared to others I know who bought the same item and received it the same day that Toys r us sent me an email instead of my order.
The moral of the story is do not pre-order with Toys R Us if you want to receive your goods on or near the release date unless you are prepared to wait an additional week or 2.

WARNING⚠️ Do not use toys r us online!
They've lost my items in transit and didn't tell me. Didn't answer any emails or Facebook messages and left me waiting on hold for ages to finally speak to someone who didn't even apologise. They've of course taken my money for the items but failed to deliver them to me. AVOID!

Bradford Store A Joke!!
title says it all what an absoulte joke the manager and staff are.
firstly you cant find anyone to help probably because they have a member of staff standing on the door like a club bouncer full time.
never have i herd such language been used in a family store.
stock markked up wrong manager took forever to come and sort by which point i had enough walked out and went to smyths toy store where they run a proper toy shop!

Very Rude Staff
WENT TO CAMBRIDGE BRANCH 4TH MAY 2015 SELECTED 2 ITEMS MARKED HALF PRICE ON SHELF- AT THE CHECKOUT THE ITEMS WERE RUNG UP AT FULL PRICE WHEN I POINTED OUT TOYS WERE MARKED 'HALF PRICE' GIRL ON TILL JUST SHRUGGED HER SHOULDERS - EVENTUALLY SHE FOUND A STAFF MEMBER TO CHECK PRICE AND ASK ME TO GO WITH HER TO SHOW HER WHERE TOYS WHERE - LUCKY I DID SHE HAD NO IDEA OF THEIR LOCATION - WHEN AGREED THEY SHOULD INDEED BE HALF PRICE GIRL ON CHECKOUT PUT THEM THROUGH - I SAID AN APOLOGY WOULD BE NICE - NOTHING TO DO WITH ME SAID CASHIER - BUT YOU REPRESENT THE COMPANY - NOTHING TO DO WITH ME SHE REPEATED. CAN ONLY ASSUME TOYS R US DON'T CARE HOW THEIR STAFF TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS - I WILL NOT RETURN
Wrong Car Seat
I bought 2 car seats from toys are us online after going into the store and getting them to check the seats were safe. Used them for 12 months and then saw a friend's and realised the buckle was wrong. Took to another store who told me it had serious buckle crunch and should not of been approved for me to use. And if I had been in an accident it would of just snapped and my children would of been flung from the car. Thankfully at the store they did replace the seats with the correct ones. But a major complaint is going in now as how many seats have they approved that shouldn't be

After being let down by Halfords when purchasing a scooter for my daughter, I tried ToysrUs.
I placed my order for delivery and it arrived two days later. I also saved a fiver by using an online code.
The website navigation was also nice and easy.
Top marks ToysRUs. Thank you!

Toys They May Be, Competent They Are Not
Wrong products picked at warehouse and sent out. No customer services telephone number offered on website. When I did call a number the wait was far longer than any other company I was calling to chase products. In total 4 calls made to company. Arranged 2 collections for wrong items to be collected - neither materialised. Promised 3 times that replacement had been sent out and I would receive before Christmas. Another call today established no replacement ever sent out. Can not get a replacement to me before Christmas even though there are still 5 days to go. Result; they still have my money and I still have no toys. This is a company whose policy is the customer is always wrong and even when they are right, do as little as you can towards admitting any fault. This is my first online company review - that's how appalled I am. Why shop with them when there are so many alternatives?

Delivery 3 Times As Long As Stated
Ordered a car seat; website said would be delivered in 6 days (needed quickly). Did not arrive & no contact from them to let us know it had been delayed. No phone number to speak to a human so had to email, but can take 48 hrs to get a response. When we got a response back it told us would be more than another 6 days before arriving and they were trying to minimise delays (they do offer next day delivery but this was not offered to make up for the delay so I don't feel that is accurate). Our account info still does not show a date for expected delivery so would not have known how long it would take if we did not pro-actively contact them. Would never have ordered from them if we knew it would take 3 weeks to arrive. Emailed more times to ask for them to refund some money and speed up delivery but have not heard back. We have ordered the same item today from elsewhere and should still receive 4 days before Toys R Us expected to deliver the same item. We will be cancelling our order; it is the first and last time I would ever shop with them & they have lost nearly £200 of our business.

I bought binatone tablet which gets really hot after 15 minute use and went back to return it for a refund. The staff on receipt ion and store Gateshead manager were both utterly rude and refused my request. I decided to leave the item there and emailed their customer service saying that product is not safe for young children as I feared battery will explode as it gets very hot. They also refused my request.
I will advice not to buy this product and be careful as they have really awful customer service and did not care about young children for their profits.

I ordered a product online as a first time user of toys r us and at first all seemed well. The following day i got an email confirming my item had been dispatched on a 3 day service along with a facility to track the parcel. After no sign of the delivery which i needed urgently on day 3 i attempted to track the parcel through the e mail link to be directed to an error page, helpful! I tried again the following morning thinking the site may have been for for maintenance with the same error message.
At this point im getting anxious as to where the item may be so i decide to get in touch with their customer services department to see if they can shed any light as to where it may be. On logging on i find that there is no telephone number to contact anybody, who in this day in age operates like this?? you can contact them by fax or letter, again we are not in the land of the dinosaur, or you have the facility to contact them using their very 'helpful' online assistant who i can only presume was taking a few days holiday at the time as after 2 messages sent through this service and now a week later i still have not had the courtesy of a response from Toys r us. Luckily my order has now turned up albeit 4 days late.I say luckily after the experience had with their equally shoddy delivery partner Nightfreight after being left to fend for myself.
ZERO customer service and am appalled at how such a big retailer thinks it acceptable to operate in this way. Completely avoid.
