Excellent Blinds Super Customer Service
I have been delighted with my wooden and roller blinds from Direct Blinds - they arrived swiftly and were easy to put up. The instructions that came with the blinds were very easy to understand.
Unfortunately I had measured 1 of our windows incorrectly. I contacted customer services who were super helpful and made me a replacement blind completely free of charge under the size sure agreement. The remade blind arrived within a few days and was a perfect fit.

Good Service And Quality
I was a bit sceptical of this company at first as they are online only and seemed to offer a very competitive price compared to the brands I was more familiar with. I ordered a sample and was pleased with it, it looked as I expected. We then ordered blinds for our entire house, about a year ago. It was much cheaper than I expected and came very quickly. The blinds look fab and operate very smoothly, we're very pleased. The after sales service has also been impressive. We recently managed to lose the pelmet hooks for two of the blinds and the person I dealt with in customer service arranged for us to receive replacement hooks and wood screws quickly. She was pleasant to deal with too. All in all a great experience and we'll definitely use them if we need blinds again in the future, and we recommend them to our friends too.

So - The Good News: The Blinds Eventually Blinds A
So - the good news: the blinds eventually blinds and they worked.
However - I would never recommend this company: I ordered on 11th December and finally got delivery on 18th January. Admittedly I did not chase the order until a few days into New Year, when I found that they had received my money on 11th December but then done nothing. They blamed PayPal for not giving them information, but in the course of the day after I left a phone message they had located all my details, so they could have done this when they banked my money. So a week or two later I asked about delivery and they gave me a Tuffnells reference for a shipment they had dispatched on TNT......

Diabolical Company
Worst blinds company we have dealt with. Got measurements of our made to measure blinds very wrong, thereby breaking the contract, refused point blank to refund us until, after several weeks of wrangling, I was on the verge of having a heart attack through the stress they caused us. As elderly vulnerable people we couldn't cope with them sticking rigidly to their script and not listening to us when they were so in the wrong. To be avoided at all cost. One blind even had a dirty mark on.

Quality Product, Delivered Fast
Cannot understand the negative reviews on here. Ordered my blinds before Christmas and was informed I'd missed pre-Christmas delivery but they arrived yesterday and I fitted them last night. They fit perfectly (like a glove, as the saying goes!) and they look really high quality. I ordered 3 different wooden blinds all in different sizes and colours and 2 x roman blinds in different fabrics. All the products sent were accurate and have a quality look / feel to them.
Knowing how easy the process to order made to measure blinds with these guys is, and the exceptional value for money given these are bespoke products, I will never buy ready made blinds from ikea, dunelm etc and spend hours cutting them down myself again! Made to measure is the future!

Poor Srevice.
I ordered Roman blinds and paid extra for quick delivery. My invoice confirmed that my blinds would arrive on the day requested (28th May). On the 27th I received an email indicating that my order has been sent to the courier, however nothing arrived on the 28th. I called customer service and was told that I would receive a refund for the quick delivery and that the blinds would DEFINITELY arrive on the 29TH. I cancelled plans and stayed in all day. IT DIDN'T arrive! Unacceptable and unprofessional.

Very Good Value
I have found Direct Blinds to be extremely helpful, I ordered Roman Blinds online and made a mistake with my measurements they corrected my order and all was good. I have since ordered again and am very happy with the blinds.
Just one little thing to Direct blinds, my 2nd order I chose the chain lock type and we had a bit of difficulty getting the locks to press in as they had been spray painted and the paint had to be scratched off to make it able to push in.
I would definitely order from them again, very good quality material easy to put up and look Great!

I am very pleased with the quality and look of my new wooden blinds, I must admit that I was a little nervous ordering after reading the negative reviews but I can only honestly say that I had a trouble free experience. Although I did think it strange that I found the confirmation email in with the junk mail! Delivery was hassle free, Fitting was easy too.. Very satisfied

What A Joke!! Do Not Waste Your Time And Money!!
I ordered these blinds on Thursday 12th March. I opted and paid extra for a quick delivery. I received an e mail to say that the blinds would be delivered on Monday 16th March. I took a day off work UNPAID so I could be in to accept the delivery.
In the afternoon on Monday 16th I called directblinds.co.uk to ask what time they would arrive. The person on the phone supposedly checked with the courier and they advised the blinds would be there before 6pm, they did not advise of any issues. NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY DID NOT ARRIVE THAT DAY!!!
I called the following day when they opened 9am to be informed that they would be delivered that day anytime between 8am and 6pm IE Tuesday 17th March, but only half of the delivery would be received and the rest would be delivered on Wednesday!!! I was out working on both Tuesday and Wednesday and it was unlikely anyone would have been in to sign for the delivery on either day. On the Tuesday at 5.55pm the delivery driver arrived with only 2 of the 5 packages!!! Fortunately I was back from work just in time.
I called directblinds.co.uk today Wednesday 18th March and spoke to a very aggressive and unhelpful lady. She then informed me that the blinds did not even leave their facility until Monday 16th. So unless they were being sent on a same day delivery, which they were not, there was absolutely no chance they would have arrived on time. Why did directblinds.co.uk not inform me of this when I called on the scheduled delivery date!! They chose to lie to me rather than tell me the truth. Should I have known that there was no chance the delivery would have happened on Monday 16th March, I would not have needed to take a day off work unpaid, I could have even clocked in an hour late and pretty much worked the whole day. This leaves me substantially out of pocket!!!
The first time directblinds.co.uk communicated any problem was at 11.08am on Tuesday 17th March, by e mail!!! Which went in my junk box so I did not see it until now!!! Why did it take them more than 24 hours to come clean and tell me the truth.
Buyers beware, if you do not want to wait in all day for a delivery that may or may not turn up, buy your blinds from elsewhere!!!
