Ordered paint on Friday and received confirmation email within 2 hours - paint arrived Tuesday lunchtime and I live 150 miles away in Somerset. Price was the best I could find so you can't get better than that. No complaints at all.

I have never used a company so appalling, I have lost count of how many times I have had to call to organise a refund for the paint I returned. All I get is “yes I will deal with it personally” yes I will have to check that is has been returned to the warehouse” Last time I talked to him he was to refund "by the method I paid by" Still nothing. It has probably cost me more in phone calls than my refund is worth. Definitely, never use this company again.

Items not in stock and they couldn't be bothered to call or email to let me know. 3-5 day delivery according to website however ot has been 4 days and item has not even been dispatched. Won't be using this company ever again.

I have been looking for someone who could provide Cuprinol Garden shades in Wild Eucalyptus Colour. The guys at tools-paint.com have their own mixing machines and were able to make this colour and deliver it to my door.

I also had some questions on application of the paint and there technical team was happy to spend time giving me free advice.

Great service and very responsive will use them again.

Placed an order for 2 tins of Johnstones paint on 17/05, telephoned to chase up after receiving no update/contact on Thurs 22/05. Was told it would be despatched on Fri 23/05 as I needed it for the planned bank holiday long weekend of house decorating.

Suffice to say was not delivered. To add insult to injury was charged delivery despite living in a free delivery location.

Price seemed cheap, now know why.....they do not deliver!

This retailing is awful. They fail to deliver and when chased, claim that the product wasn't in stock. They give me a new delivery date, which is then not adhered to.

Ordered one tin of Johnstons gloss paint on 17 April 2014 and heard nothing until I e mailed on 24th to be told that the paint had been out of stock and had been ordered in and would be delivered the next day.Did not arrive and sent another e mail on 28 the .no response to that e mail but paint arrived the following day.

Poor service and only thing decent was the price although this had a 4.95 delivery cost on top which certainly wasn't worth it.

Excellent product and speedy delivery. The price including postage was less than on the high street. I found it so simple to place my order on the website and make payment,. The product arrived in tact and well wrapped and there was a discount voucher enclosed against on my next order. I would definitely purchase more products.
