Had to replace felt on roof after 18 months due to shoddy workmanship and low quality roofing felt. Shed purchased "The Malvern Collection Ltd " Even low quality felt has an expected life of 10 years if fitted correctly. Not from these merchants it is not.

Shed was manufactured, delivered and erected by The Malvern Collection Ltd, Granville Works.

Even low quality felt has an expected life of 10 years if fitted correctly. Not from these merchants it is not. Roofing felt adhesive was not applied, nor were the overlaps sealed. The clout nails were hammered home on the edge of the overlap causing the felt to rip at every nail point eventually leading to rainwater leakage to inner shed.

Despite what is stated on their promo site as below:

The Malvern Collection range of garden rooms comes with a comprehensive guarantee from a company that has been manufacturing and installing buildings for over 50 years.

“All buildings have a structural 10 year guarantee which includes rot and decay. All other workmanship and materials are guaranteed for a period of 2 years from the date of installation.........”

Clearly, not the case. They will claim elsewhere that the guarantee is for a period of 12 months.

When I called to report the leakage from roof on a garden building costing over £3K, 17 months ago, my complaint was dismissed out of hand simply because it "was out of guarantee". So how is it that felt manufacturers state that their products are expected to have a life span of a minimum of 10 years if correctly fitted/applied, yet this lot can only give an expected life of 12 months.

Not only is their promo material incorrect as stated above their workmanship can only be described as poor. Same with customer care interaction. Effectively said "tough luck" out of guarantee.

Considering notifying Trading Standard as Specifications and Brochures are in conflict.

Was considering purchasing a Summer House from these merchants but certainly not now. For the sake of cost of a roll of felt (£44) I will be going elsewhere.

So do check their extremely low level guarantee of felt and workmanship before proceeding with any order manufactured by these merchants- The Malvern Collection Ltd.

We absolutely love our Studio Pent Garden Room installed today. The guys never stopped from the moment they arrived, they did a fantastic job and tidied up before leaving. The Garden Room is excellent quality. Highly recommend this recommend this company.

The whole process of buying our Malvern summer house, from initial sales contact at The Greenhouse People in Longham, Dorset to delivery and construction by the two man Malvern installation team, has been handled meticulously by all involved.

Let us be frank, our garden building was expensive, very expensive but is it value for money? The answer of course is "you get what you pay for". The quality of materials and manufacture of our Malvern Collection building is indisputably high. The installation team who delivered and put it up are very skilled and experienced and worked quickly and proficiently and were a pleasure to have on site.

In addition to the basic building there was a good selection of optional design and build features and finishes, several of which we opted for. Again expensive, but the finished result is a really high quality and attractive looking building which promises to give many years of enjoyable use.

When the order and delivery process was taken on by the Malvern staff the efficiency, custom service and attention to detail was superb, every detail of manufacture

and delivery was checked and confirmed.

Found the perfect painted cedar greenhouse for our newly renovated cottage. We were able to visit a show site and see exactly what we were buying. We were really impressed with the quality, the knowledge and helpfulness of the sales and customer sales team. The instructions for a suitable base were very clear from the outset and the installation and finish by the fitters on the day went without a hitch, in fact it was excellent! We would strongly recommend a greenhouse from the Malvern Collection, the whole process was seemed from start to finish and the greenhouse itself is perfect.

We're happy to be the proud owners of our new Malvern shed; the very skilled two guys (part of the installation team actually employed by Malvern) who came to install the shed arrived early on the appointed day having left base at 3.30 am. They were very personable and made short work of putting the shed up, with lots of extra care to make sure the shed was level, drained water from the roof efficiently, and was properly sealed where they cut the wood to fit on trim.

Communications with the company we were easy with very friendly staff promptly answering the phone. We are very happy with the shed and would definitely recommend this company, it's refreshing to get good old fashioned service.

We would like to say how happy we are with our new Harvington garden building.

The Malvern construction team travelled North to Scotland to install our building. The most senior member of the team has been with Malvern for 21 years and it shows - the team were very hard working, proficient, professional and polite.

These are very good sheds. They are well built and look good. Although we were warned of the lead time for the shed to be ready it in fact came sooner. It was delivered and installed by a very cheerful professional team who must have set off in the middle of the night from their base in order to get to my home on the south coast first thing in the morning.

Excellent support and service throughout from original sales enquiry right through to completion. The recommended auxiliary trades (electrician and concrete base contractor) were excellent too. We're thoroughly happy with lovely our new building.
