New Policy
Just joined PetProtect to cover my 14 week old puppy. Unfortunately he came down with a sickness yesterday. Theres a 15 day period in which you aren’t covered- my puppy was roughly 4/5 hours away from being covered and out of this two week period yet PetProtect are adamant in not paying out despite being so close, and describe it as a ‘pre-existing condition’ for 5 hours! Very petty, and due to lose a customer that may of been with them (hopefully) 10+ years! Wish I went with a company with a little more compassion, but thats insurance companies for you.

Please look else where . One of the mist expensive and in our case refused our only claim in 11 years as they don't cover sepsis. Most conditions will lead to infection and death . They wriggle out of everything.
Call handlers friendly is just a cover for a company that values money over pet care

Happy with the price I paid and what Obi is covered for my only gripe is not receiving the Amazon voucher which was offered on my first premium, I did pay the pet insurance in full maybe this is the problem

Very Disappointing
When I took out this policy I was promised a £30 Amazon voucher. I have tried several times to get this but to no avail. I feel as though I have been tricked and deceived. Don’t promise something and then fail to deliver.
Grateful Having Not Had To Use, But No Voucher As Promised
Thankfully I have not had to use the insurance yet, so cannot comment on any aspect of claims.
I can however mention that the £30 voucher which should have been sent following successful application and monthly payment being taken, has not been sent/received.
It does make you wonder how the company will deal with claims if they are not forthcoming in completing a part of the deal, of which I signed up with.

I already had a policy, so it wasn’t rocket science to go back and get another for a new pet. Reasonable cost and was exactly what I wanted. Even covers dental issues, which a lot of the bigger companies don’t. I feel confident that if I need to claim it will be dealt with smoothly.

We have not yet (thankfully) had to make a claim with PetProtect, but in terms of getting the policy setup the process was flawless and simple.
We'd even been offered a voucher credit of our choice as a thank you for our custom.
Hopefully the good service continues :)

Great Pet Insurance
Brilliant price for the cover we wanted for our pet. Covers a lot of things that others don’t and it was a very competitive monthly price. We wanted to ensure our pet was protected and covered in every aspect & pet protect allowed us to do just that.

Do they ever answer emails regarding missing microchip paperwork? Has anyone else had this issue?
No. Best way I found to contact them was via Twitter! My paperwork went missing too, took ages to get it anywhere near sorted and they still haven't got it right.
