You Pay For What You Get ...
Hi, STi is an inexpensive company that provides NO service. I called to tell them that I was having trouble calling Thailand yet I also stated I think it was that I was getting country codes, etc. mixed up and that it wasn't the calling card. After asking me a "million" questions he said that he couldn't help me with the problem. Couldn't he have explained that to me after I told him what my problem was and before he started asking me a lot of irrelevant questions? I'll pay the extra money from now on and go through AT&T ( or somewhere else) where you can get operator service, or even real basic information re what's happening

50% Of The Time They Connect Me
I bought this card years ago and used to get good service, so I have "recharged" it several times. But since Nov 2014 service has gotten much worse. Half of my calls get either a silent line or a recording, "Your call cannot be completed at this time"
Second complaint: for intra-state calls they are deducting 20 cents per minute. There has gotta be a better service. I'm looking, and I will drop

I call my parents in the Caribbean every week and sometime twice a week. I tried using an stiprepaid card and getting the message there is no answer on the line immediately after after getting the amount of minutes available for the call. It is not 4 days and the stiprepaid company cannot find a soluiton to the problem. I wasted money buying a card before this one which was giving me the same message and threw it away as I thought it was probably a one time thing or the card was damaged in some way. I called customer service about the issue and the representative asked me to wait for 90 minutes and try again as the technical support team would require this amount of time to resolve the issue. I tried again after 90 minutes, then 2 hours then one day, still no resolution. I called again after all this and spoke to another representative who asked me to do the same thing. Only a fool would keep doing the same thing and expect a different outcome. I asked whether I can return the card and exchange it for another or get a rufund and she tells me that it is up to the store. I kindly told her that the card belongs to her compnay and not the store so it is only fair that the company refund me and not the store.
She keeps repeating that I need to wait 90 minutes and try again. Please save your sanity and do not buy this company's card. If you have access to the internet, use skype credit or Google voice which I am most happy with now.

Couldn't Connect At All
I bought this card at a convenience store hoping to keep in touch with my home overseas. Instead I had nothing but problems and couldn't connect even once. Since I live far away from the convenience store there was no way to get a refund. Is there anyway to get a refund?

I try and call the number on the card in order to make a call and can't even get through to the number where I'm supposed to enter my pin! Waste of money! File a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, that's the only way I can think of putting this company out of business where they belong. And by the way, their website claims to have an A+ rating with the BBB. What a joke....
i have been trying to call home UK several times and i cant even get through to the number to enter my pin. Tried phoning and emailing for support that is also waste of time. Really fedup with stiphonecard . No support at all.
Does Not Work!
Need to rename their "customer service" group to "Who Cares". Have had continuing problems with
connections and No resolution from their "WHO CARES" group. Today I was on hold for 40 minutes at different
times trying to resolve problems(9-21-12). My wife and I are considering contacting the state attorney generals
office because, at this point the prepaid card is definitely a scam--take your money and provide NO SERVICE!
WE were pleased with the cards when Sprint issued them but STI has been a BIG disappointment! I contacted their
N.Y. office today (212-66-2805) and left two messages for Jennifer Velasquez-it will be interesting if she returns
my calls. We have experienced similar problems as expressed by other STI customers---long hold times,
rude individuals, hang-ups and very broken english. At this point we're not sure if STI needs or wants our
business. Based on their performance it appears to be a "take the money and run scheme".
If your lucky enough to get through to their "Who Cares" group and talk to James, Jaemin, Maryann or Cynthia go
ahead and disconnect because you will receive ZERO help!

They are in bankruptcy and our phone card has not worked in 10 days. We have two cards for a total of 1200 minutes but I guess we will have to buy some others. They always tell us give us 24 hours.
Waste Of Money And Time
If I could post this and give STI Zero stars, I would.
What a piece of cr**. The pre-recorded hispanic accented woman says the party I am trying to call is not available at this time. It was a land line that had been in service for years. I tried again a few days later after exchanging e mails with the party I was trying to reach. Same thing...hispanic accented woman telling me the same thing. Tried calling customer service and they just cut your call off. They ripped me off for $10.
Do Not Waste Your Money
I bought this last yr and it worked fine. Since then I have had issues where I cannot get connected. I call customer service just to be transfer to some recorded message that I had 4 hrs wait to call back later and then disconnected. I have even tried to email them just to have my email come back. DON'T BUY THIS CARD! I had to rate this but it doesn't deserve 1 star.

STi absolutely piece of sh.t useless phone company if you want to throw your money to garbage buy STi card for the phone connection useless garbage sh.ty phone card i never ever buy again buy "SDi Black phone card" look on the top left or right corner if say STi do not buy
I totally agree, I bought one to call the UK and used it twice on day 1 however it has not worked since (around 4 days now) and I tried calling customer services only to be fobbed off once as all other times it says they are busy and disconnect the call. Does the US have a telecoms regulator, in the UK we do and this would not be acceptable.

Seems like someone took the money and ran. I haven't been able to connect for over a week. Now customer disservice phone tree answers then just clicks off. 8 hours of phone card evaporated with no explanation.
