Hopeless With Any Changes And Expensive For Any Changes
I bought ticket from BYO jet as Flight Centre is a part of it. Flight Centre in the past has been a reliable and friendly organisation. However, when it comes to any change, I found that making change thru BYO jet to flight when overseas to be very slow and nearly unresponsive. As prices change by the minute it is necessary to have a system that can provide the customer that facility. I called their contact as I had made the booking in Australia at a cost to me. The number rang with a recorded message when it was not even 5 pm in Australia. Yet this number should be 24/7. What does it say for service. Fortunately, it was a Qantas flight for which I was able to contact Qantas in Delhi who helped me out. Besides this disservice by BYO jet the admin cost and flight change price they quoted without any action was way higher than I got from Qantas. I even had a support Voucher for BYO19763196 from BYO jet which they did not seems to care and now has no value for me as I will not use BYO in future. My advice is to buy the ticket directly with the airlines or Hotel if there is likely to be any change. The extra paid should be considered as an insurance and any case not BYO jet.
Not Told Of Change Fee Or Short Time To Use Flight Credit.
I booked flights from & to Europe from LA. I have return LA flights I’ve used from last year from Fiji air.
A few weeks ago I was advised by BYOJet that the airline had changed my return flight time into LAX. I had to either say Yes or No. As the change meant I only had 15mins between flights I said No & also can I cancel & have a full refund. They advised that the airline Delta said was only a minor change so no refund. I was advised that I could have a credit shell which I agreed to. I received an email which had the change fee blanked out. I said I agreed.
When I was advised by email that the credit had been created I was then told that there would be a $584 rebooking fee & also that I only had until December to use the credit. I contacted them by email stating the above but they just brushed it aside. I rang them but in the end they said the rebooking fee will apply $584 & I have until December to use the credit. Really appalling customer service & I’ll never use them again.
Oman Holicay
I booked holiday from 20 – 29th March 2020 to Travel from London to Muscat Oman. That flight was counselled because of the Corona. From that time until now (more than 3 years) I did not receive any compensation. After contacting BYOjet Support for so many times they provide me with the Voucher that in reality I could not use because they do not provide me any destination I can use it. This is not right what they are doing. If anyone have enough knowledge to stand in court for this case I will give them half of gain.

I got this in UK!
So almost year and half now, on return leg of flight was invited for online boarding pass issuance even by Saudi Airline. When reached airport for return leg of flight, was declined boarding 2.5 hours before flight boarding time to Heathrow! Unbeleavable!? Tail end of Covid restrictions, Same flight used 2 weeks prior to get to get in, not allowing at 11th hour to board, citing a paper in hand at the desk of notification dated a bit older! So you took my money and bboked me aflight knowing there are restrictions and allowed me to travel and then also allowed online boarding pass issuance and at the airport have rude staff showing a piece of paper and turning away as if don`t give a damn!
Had to buy on the spot Qatar airway ticket because had no other choice! Waited at airport and spent resources and time further, extreme physical and mental anguish.
Boyo Bozo`s can`t other answering phone first, then lame excuses of busy, Have maybe 3 staff running this ---- show from down under. Phillipino`s from what they told me! One email later again same no reply of co-Operation and then silence! NOT TRUSTABLE AT ALL! Still haven`t had any reply coming to almost year and half!
DON`T GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY, I THOUGHT I`D SAVED 20£ BUT ACTUALLY LOST 870+!!!
Worst Customer Experience
My wife and I booked a flight to Kuala Lumpur on the 23rd October 2020 due to the COVID-19 and the travel restrictions we were unable to fly. I was given a credit till May 2022 I called byojet 20 times and send them many emails never received any reply e-mail. I wanted to book again for Kuala Lumpur I was told BA currently not flying into Kuala Lumpur I booked new flights with different airline. Our voucher date was confirmed till May 2023 last 6 month I called customer service and checked if it is possible to change my destination from Kuala Lumpur to maldives I was promised by the customer service advisor I can only book with them and I cannot book directly with BA. I am tired of calling them and they are not being able offer any flight I am about to give up my £2094.00.
Don’t Use Them- Terrible Customer Support
I booked a flight from Melbourne to Colombo and wanted to change the return date for an emergency. So I called them to inquire about my options with date changes. The agents at the call centre keeps telling me the booking is a “US booking” and they can’t access it to even check pricing. It’s been 5 days of calls and emails with agents promising they would get a response from the “relevant team” but I’ve got nothing and the tickets are getting pricier by the day!
They sent me an sms and email today to say call the customer care number to address the concern, which I did, but they say the same!
Very poor customer service!
Byo Jet Facing Investigation
BYO Jet (part of the flight centre group) are about to be investigated by AFTA for potential large scale withdrawal of customer funds in the form of flight credits that they are not allowing customers to access. Flight credits were awarded to customers when flights were grounded during the pandemic. Now that the airways are open again BYO jet is not answering calls and e-mails. The funds have gone somewhere, but where?
Never Again
As many others, flight cancelled in 2020. Now trying to book a flight and I can't use the credit. 3 phone calls. 2-hour waiting time before someone picks up. Always promised emails to explain details / provide quotes. Nothing received. They are just pushing people to forget about their credit.
Byojet: Never Go With Them.
It has been a year now, byojet mever refunded my money. I contacted them thousands of times on email and phone call, but they never replied me on my refund. They misbehave and even abuse customers on call. Stay away from Byojet .

Impossible To Contact, And Hung Up Phone Calls
Being told BYOJet can't help me unless the airline cancels the flight (because the airline told them this), however have various emails from the airline AND a page on their website saying you can get a full credit for any flights still operating before 31st July. Have also been told to take it up with the airline, which I know I can't do if it isn't booked directly through them. Being given false information and then get hung up on after 2 hours on hold. Also no responses to any emails at all after over a month. At least now I know never to use them again!
