Don't Go Near This Company !!!!!

Our dealings with this company was extremely distressing. They proved to be dishonest in their dealings with us and in fact were quite bullying in their tactics.

We booked business class flights too and from Amsterdam for which we paid nearly $12000 ( with the international transaction fee). 2 months prior to leaving I noticed that the first leg was not on the itinerary. I contacted them only to be told that the flights had been cancelled. I asked for a refund and was told that they did not do refunds!!! They offered us flights on an inferior carrier which we did not want and were also wary of having flights cancelled again. I spoke with one of the owners of the company who informed me that it was because I had contacted the airlines ( Etihad), which was a lie as I had not contacted them, he then told me he would book us flights on the carrier of our choice and pay for them with his credit card, another lie as this never eventuated, I told them I was going to go through our bank to have the money refunded to our credit card as we had not received the service, to which they replied that it would be quicker for us if they refunded the money, another lie, they then told us that the refund process had been commenced and it would take 3 to 4 weeks for us to get the money refunded, another lie as we never received the money from them. Luckily I did start the process with our bank and have had the money refunded by them, and they will now pursue the company.

Bottom line is the airlines are aware that they book with frequent flyer miles which they sell to the consumer. As this breaches the Terms and Conditions of the frequent flyer programme the airlines are within their rights to cancel the flights.

We are now considering what further action we should take so that nobody else has to put up with what was a very very distressing situation.

Refuse To Refund

Had $1500 credit from Fly Business For Less for previous nightmare so thought i would give them another go. Booked Etihad 1st class melbourne to Europe and Business class back. Eitihad cancelled the tickets because they were issued against their frequent flier rules. Had meeting with Etihad and they said they are doing this on a regular basis. Fly Business for less took 3 weeks to acknowledge tickets had been cancelled and then another few days to offer alternative flights. These added over 16 hours to the travel time, were only business class and on way inferior airlines so i said it they were unacceptable and i wanted a refund as i was not prepared to risk this happening when i turn up at the airport( according to Etihad this does happen). The refund was refused, so i told the owner of the company i had lodged a claim with Amex to get the money refunded. He then said as i had done that their bank had tied up the money so they could not release it. I spoke again to Amex who said this was a lie on 2 fronts. Firstly the claim had not even been processed and secondly they can issue a credit any time to settle claim. Also i an article in Traveller magazine Fly Business For Less stated they issued refunds if all goes wrong.  I think this company is well versed in fending off complaints and hanging on to your money. A little more research about these people show they are a part of a property development company and web sites for both companies seem to pump up their actual size. i actually believe this is run ad hock by a couple of employees of the property development company to convert their flier miles into cash.

My advice would be to avoid like the plaque any of these companies selling business class tickets on points.

Great Price Last Minute Travel

You obviously had better luck than I did on two occasions trying to fly through. Only booked second time due to credit offered for problems on first booking. Airline cancelled tickets and I an still owed $15,000 by fly buisiness for less, who have lied about not being able to process a refund as I have opened a claim with Amex. Amex tell me this is untrue.

Recommended Above Any Travel Agency!

I had originally contacted flybusinessforless.com for a flight from Sydney to London. Indeed I received a super deal within 12 hours of my flight query. Unfortunately, however when we decide we would be 2 couples traveling together, my personal agent could not find availability for all of us for that same great price.

So I shopped around and paid for tickets with another company - lowbusinessfares.com.

A MONTH LATER WE HAD STILL NOT RECEIVED OUR E-TICKETS!! To that end, we canceled our booking with them and emailed the agent I had been working with at flybusinessforless.com if she can try to help us out once again.

She did and she found us flights for unbelievable pricing - worked hard on us because we were so inflexible as we had a cruise booked and work considerations.

All the time cheerfully and professionally.

Our trip has been a success due to our flights. We have been able to afford to travel in luxury.

Thank you, I will continue to refer to my co-workers and family.

All these low cost business fare companies face the same problem of airlines cancelling their tickets which is what happened to me. Fly buisness for less could not provide suitable replacements flights and could not even fingd anything for a month after I told them my bookings had been canceled. Beware this company will not issue refunds only credits. Really not worth the stress.

Fly Business For Less, Beware, No Refunds Only Credits

Had a booking to go Thai Melbourne London with Fly Buisness For Less. Unfortunately Thai changed their flight times and our flight was moved forward to a day we were unable to travel and we had already booked to meet a tour at the other end. Only option that could be provided was a credit if we cancelled and we could book another flight some time in the future. You must be aware that there is no refunds and only credits no matter whose problem it might be. It is obvious the way they use the points means the airline won't credit them. Because of timing this whole episode has been a nightmare because i am sitting here a week before my holiday with no flights for fly business for less and $10,000 out of pocket until i want to risk going somewhere else with them. It is obvious they have no ability to offer you any flexibility like the airlines do. Not their fault Thai changed the times but direct with the airline you can can money back or more chance of getting on better alternatives.

My only comment is if all goes well its good, also shop around as you will be surprised the prices you can find direct from the airlines and few a few hundred dollars more you get a hell of a lot of security and points.

You can save all the money you like up front but if the airline cancel your tickets and you have to buy new ones, try getting your money back from fly buisness for less, then you will see how much you have saved. They tell lies about not being able to refund through Amex which Amex say is a lie.

Cheap Business Class Tickets + #1 Service!

I dont usually write reviews on companies but I had to share my experience with Flybusinessforless.com. I always fly business class when I fly for work as my company covers it. Yet when I fly for personal, I just dont spend that kind of money. Having flown business alot I kinda got used to it and really did not want to fly economy again. Thats when I found flybusinessforless.com. Not sure how they do it but they got me a $14,000 business class ticket for $4,000! The customer service was great too. They contacted me within 15 minutes of sending me request. Those guys are great! Very helpful and patient in finding the right flight too! My only complaint was my connecting flight got cancelled and I had to wait 5 hours in the airport but I guess that wasnt really their doing!
