AA left my daughter stuck in a City centre at 11.00 p.m. - apparentky they had problems with my card payment - which they failed to tell me about! this left us with no cover.

As compensation from the AA I have just been offered a deal for the next which is more expensive than last year!

After 6 years with the AA I am going to now try a proper breakdown service provider

asked for personbal cover, national recovery. they quoted £40. selected buy online. it goes to green flag website where they quote you £73. no matter what you change or select to get the cover they quote at £40 is impossible, even green flag say that!

I bought cover from this site and found it easy to use, and I got a good deal. My only criticism is that the site is quite bulky and ugly and has too much Green Flag on it. Although, I did buy A Green Flag product so maybe it does exactly what it should.

Why can't more utilities have a specific site? it is so much easier to find what you want without being sold car insurance, new gas & electricity and broadband. I never thought that I would find a site dedicated to this product, and its actually really good to see. usually when you search, you get all the big brands, and you have to go through them all to get a good price. But this breakdown site has all the prices, in order and makes it easy to find cover. I bought Green Flag cover for £27 (the price it actually said) and I will no doubt use the same site when I renew next year

I was searching around the web last week and decided that I needed to get some breakdown cover as my policy had recently run out. I came across this site and had a play around with it. I landed on the compare page, but decided to go to the homepage to see everything that the site had to offer.

On this page I found a package builder, which asked you very simple questions so that I got the exact cover that I needed. Once you say exactly what you want, it then gives you 3 options that best suit me, and I decided to go with one of them. I would tell them to land on the homepage from Google so that everyone could see the package builder, but other than that, the site is brilliant.

My mum is an older driver, but is very independent, so I wanted to know she would be in safe hands and also get the best deal on breakdown cover. I see a lot of adverts online and on TV and they always say "make sure you compare all providers to get the best price" and I have always thought of it as a waste of time, but now I totally understand that taking a few minutes comparing can save you a fortune. I started searching around Google and once I found breakdown cover comparison I didn't need to look any further. I was able to select different options and the comparison table automatically updated in price order, which is amazing because usually they are all over the place. The only thing I would say is that It is very heavily weighted towards 1 provider in terms of flashy banners on the site, which can put you off a bit, but other than that it's a great site. I even bought myself cover too, but not at the same level as my mum, she needs it more than I do.
