Useless
Nothing but problems, told me one price on phone charged more on bill- took 3 months to get a usable service they insisted that I had engineers to check line, sent one for phone then one for broadband then billed me for £250 for cost of engineers visits. Open reach said problem was true telecom equipment, they say no. Worst decision i ever made was to change, True Telecoms - nothing true about them, have reported to Offcom and will probably end up with Ombudsmen to hopefully get out out of contract.
True telecom don't even have a legal team, its the sales reps that do bad on your account!!
BT played me a recording of them phoning BT pretending to be my dad talking really posh trying to get out of the fine. My dad's from east London so doesn't even speak like that lol. I can't believe in this day and age company's operate like this!!!
Hi, we are having the same trouble with this awful company and now trading standards are taking on our case, although True telecom have stopped communicating with them, because they know they have breached their verbal contract with us, by not moving over our broadband, only our phone line, by saying the legal team would get any early termination charges from BT removed and they didn't, its all a big fat lie and lastly I asked if i could leave at anytime and they said yes but the biggest breach is they did not state that there was any charge to do this or the exact amount of there early termination fee. Biggest bunch of liars I have ever come across, anyone reading this DO NOT USE TRUE TELECOM....

Tempted But No
Received a cold call which sounded plausible. However asked for details in an e mail so I could check it really was good value and to see what customer service they offered. Of course they would not do that until I agreed to switch. Having read reviews here so glad I didn't agree. Any decent business would let you have the details in writing before committing.
Just had the same sort of cold call for my business use, but wanted to check them out first, glad I did!

Dishonest
spent months dealing with termination fees from BT after they sold me on we'd get our legal team to sort this. put me on wrong call plan then when I requested my calls to prove what plan I asked for, was told we cant let you have them.... wasted hours calling them, waited hours for promised returned calls nothing... seriously terrible company with no integrity and poor customer service.

Cold Calling.
Cold calling, high pressure selling company, the sort of company you see on TV.
I would advise you to steer clear and hang up on them, if you do want to use them you can sign up on their website.
Overall rating zero stars.
Call BT they will give you a better deal.

Disorganised Company
only given one star because have to give something, call centre unhelpful, bills inaccurate generally money grabbing company which I would advise everyone to steer clear of. I need to phone frequently and they only have one number so keep getting line busy or line out of order presumably because of high call load.

Pleasantly Surprised - Can't Complain At All
I have to say I'm pleasantly surprised, they're much better than BT but for a cheaper price. I'm usually weary of random calls so I phoned the customer services department to be safe and it was all legit.
I had ten days to make sure I was happy with everything and spoke to my account manager who was really helpful. Our bills have shrunk significantly - only problem was BT digging their heels in and they're even helping me out with that too!
I would definitely recommend

Very Pushy Stay Clear
Ive just received a phone call from what I was lead to believe we're open reach part of BT.
I was asked for my name and address so they could send out information stupidly I gave it to them, then I was asked for my sort code which I denied to give. The sales person was very pushy saying giving out your sort code won't harm anything and will not be able to take money out of your account. I smelt a rat and refused to give it. He then stated I should research and call him back with my sort code. I WONT BE CALLING HIM BACK!!!
I'm now worrying that they know my name and address!
Stay clear
Pushy And Misleading
My colleague took a call this morning from True Telecom. They mentioned openreach which lead her to believe it was related to BT, which caused a great deal of confusion. After more hard selling they then asked for our bank sort code, when my colleague began to smell a rat and tried to get off the phone they passed the call onto someone else to pile on more pressure.
I decided to research the company and came across this site and told her to abandon the call having seen all the bad reviews. So thanks for the info!
If a company has to put this much pressure on someone to get their business then they are a company that people are not going to by free will, undoubtedly for good reason.

Appalling Customer Service
I changed from BT to Truetelecom after being assured that True telecom would waive the penalty fee incurred for this. This has not happened , Despite countless telephone calls to customer service and the customer service manager I have been left to pay the fees myself after being pursued by a debt collecting agency. The only advice the girls in customer service have had to offer is that this is "scare tactics" on the part of BT. It isn't. I have suffered financial loss as a result of acting on True telecom's advice and there seems to be no system in place to reimburse customers who have lost out by having to pay penalty fees to BT- which is absolutely the opposite of what I was told . I am now having to take this up with the ombudsman as Truetelecom still do noy reply to my emails or phone calls. Avoid this company at all costs.
I also was cold called by True Telecom and because they promised to repay any charges from leaving BT I chose to give them both my business lines as they appeared cheaper. But with only one day to go before BT deadline of losing the broadband to True (they had already taken the line over but forgotten to do the broadband) I read the above review and his case was mirroring mine but I still had time to cancel True before taking me over totally. I was over the 10 day limit of changing my mind with True so wasn't confident I would succeed.I rang BT business who assured me that they would refuse True telecom taking over, credit my account with any charges that BT would make due to True taking it over. They also could take back the already taken over lines that True had grabbed. I had left it last minute to ring BT as True had promised their legal team would sort out the costs that were mounting up to near to £1500 in costs from BT for moving and this was too much to gamble on a guy from True Telecom who was rude, wouldn't put me through to a someone who I had been re-assured to keep True and in the end I put the phone down on him and rang BT. Cancelled True and was advised by BT to stop any direct debit authority that True had pushed me for in the initial call. SO ANYONE CONSIDERING A "CHEAP NO HASSLE DEAL" BY TRUE TELECOM - DONT DO IT! I am waiting for Watch Dog to get these guys....

Horrendous Experience. Avoid Like The Plague
We have been told that we have been issued with a deadlock resolution letter after weeks of phone calls and emails to True Telecom. They transferred the line without our knowledge and on the day the line was transferred we were told in writing, by the account manager, that we still could cancel the transfer. They are claiming that we are liable for a huge amount of money for breaking a contract on a deal which we have told them we weren't interested in. It seems that they are basing this decision on the fact that we didn't use the words "Can we have a cancellation number." According to True Telecom you can only cancel if you have a cancellation number. This was never mentioned to us until after the 10 days was up. They failed to cancel the deal on their system. They have admitted to another admin error but now they are refusing to even talk to us over the phone to discuss this matter. Shocking customer service. We feel completely ripped off both financially and emotionally. The amount of stress caused by this company has been unmentionable.
