I was very impressed by the speedy service provided by Malaga Car Hire in the UK; very professional. Also the video was very clear regarding the location to catch the shuttle bus.

Arriving in Malaga airport I went directly to the location and in a short while Niza cars shuttle bus came along and took me to their depot within 3-4minutes.

No long queue, only one customer before me considering we had arrived on the first day of half term.

Niza cars (The company in Spain that Malaga Car Hire use) had my paperwork ready, the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The car came with a built in sat nav so I didnt have to pay extra for this and they gave us a complimentary child booster seat for our peace of mind for one of our children who they thought didn't really need one. I took out the extra insurance which I would highly recommend and made the discounted payment that was quoted to me by Malaga Car Hire (not the prices displayed on the board behind them).

The paperwork already had a log of all the scratches and dents that the vehicle had and the rep read some of them out to me when we inspected the car at handover. After showing me the vehicle registration document, spare wheel, warning triangle and high vis jacket I was on my way.

In total the whole process from arriving at Niza cars depot must have taken a smooth trouble free 15 minutes.

Returning the vehicle was just as quick, smooth and simple; no queues, the rep had the paperwork ready, she checked the car for the registration paperwork, spare tyre, high viz jacket and full tank, and within minutes we are on the shuttle bus back to the airport. We were dropped right in front of the correct check in area.

Very impressed by the both the Malaga Car Hire service in the UK and Niza Cars in Spain.

I've used Malagacar.com every year when I travel to Spain and have always found them to be totally reliable, on time with their collection and return to the airport with their courtesy bus. The stress of travelling is always made easier with their short 1 minute courtesy drive to their premises opposite the airport. On arrival it takes only a few minutes to process the car collection and their cars are always clean and tidy. In all the years I have used them I have never had a single problem. Returning of the car at the end of the holiday is just as easy and takes literally 1minute to drop the car and keys back and then proceed to the courtesy minibus back to the airport. There is never the worry that I will return to the UK and find that extra money has been taken by them as they are very open and easy to deal with and so I would always recommend Malagacar.com to anyone looking to hire a car from Malaga

I rented having read ok reviews. I was driving and pulled over to stop by the Spanish police why? No valid mot (the Spanish equivalent) on the vehicle. If you doubt it I have a copy of the ticket I was issued, police kept me for 30 minutes and not happy with me! I paid good money for a car that was NOT LEGAL. The manager on my returning the car couldn't care less he said and I quote, you should say good morning to me before you tell me the problem! Unbeleivable. So use a proper recognised company as the police told me they look out for Malagcar.com cars as they have a reputation for not having valid mot's rent at your peril from them.

Beware of this company. I have rented cars from them on numerous occasions but the last one really is the last one.

I had to pay 390 euros deposit, when I took the car back I expected my deposit refunding but was told the system was down. I was given a piece of paper with an email address on it and told to send them my details. Because I have had no problem with them before I accepted it. What a mistake. After sending around 20 emails and making 7 phone calls I got my deposit back with no compensation. When I asked about compensation I was told I would get an upgrade next time. When I went to book another car I was told they had no cars on that date. The booking number in England was useless. They told me they ere an agent and deposits are nothing to do with them. STEER CLEAR.

First make sure you search for the correct site, there are lots of similar names. All one word - MALAGACARHIRE. The first thing you will notice is the fact they are a direct company and NOT an agent hidden behind another agent who lets out his friends cars via someone else. Site is very straight forward with the price you see, being the real piece on the day. Here's the biggest bonus, they only charge you for HALF a tank of fuel, AT REGULAR PUMP PRICES, not a bit extra for the service. This at least gives you a chance to not waste money on fuel. No one rarely uses a full tank in a week. Pick up is excellent, meet rep on exit to airport, walk round the corner to company minibus then 5 minutes later you're at their offices. Plenty of staff, all helpful and a pleasant hassle free experience. Look after your car, return it and no extra or hidden costs. GIVE THIS COMPANY A CHANCE, my 1st visit in 4 of NOT being ripped off!!!

We used Malagacarhire.com having read some of the reviews on this website. A friend of mine also used them at the same time.

Whilst the pick service from the airport was good for me, my friend had to wait more than 40 minutes to be picked up. Having booked a class E car I was disappointed with Chevrolet Lacetti we ended up with. It looked very well used (wheel trims missing) and I am sure it was not a 1.6 litre engine. We just about fitted our luggage in having removed the parcel shelf and making use of the back seat where the kids were. We had 1 large suitcase, a regular sized and a holdall and pram. So we coped. My friend was also a little disappointed with the Seat Leon he received, hving booked the same.

My biggest concern was the shocking state of the child seats. We were shown to a 'pile' of seats from which we could pick. The booster seats we could live with for my 6 year old, but the child seat options for my 2 year old was a different story. They were very grubby with bits broken and twisted, un-adjustable straps (due to damage). We picked the best of a very bad bunch and tried to fit it into the car. No instructions are provided and the staff just shrugged their shoulders when I asked for guidance, even though I was prepared to fit and take responsibility.

When it was 'fitted' it moved around all over the place and I seriously dread to think what could have happened in the event of an accident. Had we had another alternative, I would have used it.

Therefore, whilst the pick up and drop off service was excellent and the car was OK, if you are travelling with young children, I would seriously recommend taking your own child seat. It is probable that this is similar for all Spanish car hire firms, but I can only reflect on my experience.

I would thoroughly recommend MalagaCarhire.com - don't get confused with Malagacar as previous reviews state. We hired a car through this company in August 2011 - they use a local company called Niza cars. We were met at arrivals by the Niza Car rep (need to look carefully as they only have a small clipboard and there are so many car reps)and then a short walk to the minibus outside of the terminal, did not have to wait very long for the minibus and it only took a couple of minutes to reach the Niza office just outside the airport. There was no queue at their office and the booking in process was extremely quick - this was in the middle of the day in August! We paid in sterling the exact price we were quoted, the car was a brand new Seat Leon the cost for 14 days rental was £350 which was extremely competetive. The fuel policy is you collect the car with a full tank of fuel and pay a deposit (we paid 70 Euros) so long as you return the car with a full tank you receive your deposit back. We did not have to hand over any credit card details and did not experience any problems with the car. I would definitely use this company again.

This was the 2nd time I have used malagacarhire.com. They are a broker based in the UK and they use nisa cars a spanish company. I hired a peugeot 308 for 13 days at a cost of £185. This included a baby seat at £10 which is significantly less than most car hire firms. There rates are fully inclusive, with zero excess and no extra cost for additional drivers. The fee is paid direct to nisa cars on arrival so there are no upfront fees and it can be paid in cash. A credit card or debit card is not required as there is only a small fuel deposit which was 70 euros on this occasion. On both occasions the cars have been in excellent order with low miles on the clock. Overall I would give www.malagacarhire.com a highly recommended.

We booked a car through malagacarhire.com, the cars are supplied by a company called Niza. We were advised to pay in cash Sterling when we arrived to guarantee the price. As we came through the arrivals hall, we found the Niza car rep who directed us to the pick-up stop which was a short walk away. The minibus was waiting and it only took 5 minutes to get to the depot. The booking in process was quick and we were on our way. The car was in a good condition, though had plenty of miles on the clock. The car had a full tank of diesal and we had to return it full (they take credit card details and will charge 60 euros if tank is not full). On our return, we parked the car, one of the reps checked the car over, and we were immediately driven to the aiport and dropped off at the departure hall - from parking the car to arriving at the terminal took less than 10 minutes! And this in peak holiday season. Would highly recommend.
