We Rented A Car Through Carrental who Sub-contract
We rented a car through carrental who sub-contracted okmobility. We never looked on trustpilot or Google reviews to my dismay.
Our contract was full-2-full, they only gave us half tank, tried to force insurance on us and on return, deducted €360 for a damaged black bumper which did not exist. (I have video and photos). No paperwork was given and customer care is designed to be impossible.
All I could do was leave a bad review and got a journalist to publish my story.
Today Google removed my review, but reinstated it when I appealed and then a solicitor for okmobility sent the journalist a threatening letter to remove my story.
So firstly, if you go away this holiday, rent a car from Hertz or Avis and pay a bit more.
And secondly, report Othman Ktiri to spanish police chief and the ombudsman and then email Forbes for rewarding this person as a successful entrepreneur

Ok Mobility Palma Airport
Booked car hire with OK Mobility at same time as flight thru Easyjet (thought that brand association would mean OK Mobility reputable). Took out the Premium Insurance offered via Easyjet at time of booking. OK Mobility told us bare faces LIES! That the insurance we taken out with Easyjet was a 'broker' insurance and didn't cover minor damage and that they would charge €300 per scratch also that Easyjet Insurance didn't cover punctures. Basically they kept on and on about how much we would have to pay if ANYTHING happened - real persistent and high pressure selling. We eventually took out the additional insurance at €208 - almost double the cost of the actual car hire. OK Mobility staff at car collection and return were also totally indifferent/dismissive when I told them about existing damage to the vehicle; its all recorded on cameras when leave and enter the car park.
Easyjet have been great and refunded us the Insurance premium we paid to them but please please avoid OK Mobility unless you want to go through the unpleasant insurance pressure selling we endured.
PS - look at other review sites (e.g. Trip Advisor, Trust Pilot etc.) and you will see that ours was not a unique experience!!!

Non-existent Customer Support
I have emailed both BCN airport offices and headquarters Customer Support several times regarding a document I need to support an insurance claim.
Neither even bothered to respond!

Rented A Fiat 500 From Nice Office. Picked Up Car
Rented a Fiat 500 from Nice office. Picked up car at 21:00 in the dark. The car had some minor scratches on the doors etc. which we took a photo of. Even in the dark it was hard to see but visible. Took photo of the wheels. Returned vehicle and on first inspection they tried to say the rim was damaged we it was our fault. There was no mark on the tyre so we did not pay. Then the employee walked to the front and VERY QUICKLY PUT HIS HAND UNDER THE FRONT UNDERBODY and said that we had hit a gutter on parking and this was damaged. He asked of we had a photo of the front underside of the vehicle. We didn't because it was dark and the car is only 125mm off the ground. We had photos of all the car and interior but not underneath. It was like he know there was a problem. I DID NOT PARK FORWARD INTO A GUTTER AND THE DAMAGE WAS ALREADY THERE. He said the car was going to replaced in December so they were not going to fix the car. Leave it for the next innocent person to pay more. So as we had to get on the plane we signed the contract and left. Got charged 300 euro plus 60 euro for admin. This is part of their business model and why they are cheaper. Go with a real company and forget OK Mobility.
We were kept waiting 40minutes while Natalia checked every single small mark against the photos I had taken. At one point she said she was going to report a small mark on the bonnet as she could not see this on my photo. My husband then took my mobile and found the tiny mark she had not seen. Finally after much discussion she was satisfied.
We noticed a man before us was also complaining and was shouting it was fraud and he was reporting this to the police. Natalia had found a small mark on his wing mirror that he had not photographed.
I think this gentleman is correct, Natalia went straight for his wing mirror and also went straight to our minor marks. Obviously they are recorded before the car is hired out. The customers are not told and the marks are so tiny, but you expect the customer to notice them and take a photo. If the customer fails to notice them they receive a bill.
This is a disgrace and should be stopped

Do Not Hire From This Company
EXTREMELY POOR REVIEWS ON EVERY REVIEW WEBSITE
So sorry I did not think to look at reviews before I booked thro Easyjet - (I usually do).
All very friendly until they want to scan your credit card for security, fuel deposit, etc and speaking good English.
Then comes the "you need to buy insurance bit" - something I didn't need, as I have a policy in place - this however is 'not good enough' in their eyes and suddenly they are only talking in Spanish!
Insurance cost me more than double the car hire and far more than it would have been had I booked it with Easyjet when I ordered the car.

Ok Mobility - Malaga *****never Use ** I Have Hire
OK mobility - MALAGA *****NEVER USE **
I have hired cars throughout the world and never had any deductions until I came across this company, even though I used them 4 years ago, with no issue, this time was 100x worse.
my flight was over 3 hours late, they ask you for your flight number when booking, but ignore that, as that is another way for them to trick more money from you. Conveniently, my "booked car" was given away as i was late, but they only had a more expensive car, which was a hybrid automatic, so another $80 paid and my deposit of 1350euro blocked on my card.
I went to locate the car, which they gave more directions for ( i am disabled / walking restricted). eventually found the car, only for it to be that tightly parked between 2 cars on either side and 1 behind there was no way i could get access. Eventually a female staff member came to my aid and she even had difficulty, because I had been on the go for over 7 hours and in pain with walking so much, I got my bags in and drove away. Apparently, I was meant to inspect the car in a dimly area before leaving the car park though was not advised.
The first issue was on leaving, the windscreen washer warning light came on to warn there was low water. I then contacted them to advise them of some issues but no response. I noticed the car was pulling to the left, and when you drove 80kph + the car would shake / vibrate, so obviously there was issue with the alignment and balancing of the tyres.
I had to contact them to ask how I charged the car (hybrid engine) and if I could return the car a day earlier (surprise no response). In the end I googled it and discovered the charge cables are located in the spare wheel section of the boot.
I returned the car to the airport car park of Mobility. I eventually found their section, I stopped and asked an employee where did I leave my car and was told anywhere. So, I did, I then approached a young female who was standing behind a podium and I asked did I give her the keys or return them to the office. She abruptly asked me where the car was, I pointed it to her, was then told me no, you must bring it here (I was about 10 cars away but it was not in the return bays!).
She then “inspected the car” took the keys and with her ipad light walk around the car, she then told me I had “curbed” scraped the alloys. I explained I did not do that and showed her my video, which was not acceptable as it was not taken in the car park. I argued with her and highlighted all the issues with the car, and I asked so how can you state this car was perfect when I highlighted several keys facts that the car was not prepared correctly prior to my driving it. She refused to accept my facts. I just checked my card, and they have deducted nearly 400euro from my card for an alleged scuffed wheel, I could buy a whole new alloy wheel for that price.
I have sent them an email stating all the points about the condition I received and if I must I go to court to get my money back as the car was returned with full tank and fully charged and the amount, they deducted is not proportionate to the alledged damage.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO LOSE HUNDREDS OF EURO! I WILL NOT LET THIS GO.

Experience Renting With Okrentacar
Rented a car on 29/08/23 .unfortunately I had an accident car was collected by recovery.i was told to pick up a replacement car.i had to pay for recovery of car plus another rental fee for the next remaining 9 days totalling 417 euros.i was given no paperwork for the rental.they said it's all done by email.when I returned the car the employee at the return car park is ready to go home very rudely said I have a life and family to go home to.he then took the keys and said you can go .I then said you have to check the car over and sign it off.he then went around the car and said they are scratches on the passenger side front bumper.i said to him ther were there before you would have took pictures of the car when it came back from the last rental.he said its up to the customer to take pictures when they take possession of the vehicle. I said we did but my wife has already gone to departure. So he said send the photos we tried several times it keeps coming back as access denied.i dropped car off at 21.30 on 20/09/23 I am home now still trying to contact them with no joy keep saying no one there to take your call try later.they only seems to acknowledge you if you take out their very expensive insurance. Even them it does not cover a lot of things.still waiting for my invoice for the first hiring so I can submit it to my insurance company whether it a company policy of trying to bleed as much as possible from you or just certain employee who just do it. I have hired from this company before and never had a problem just this time with this young gentleman. I will in future take the public transport regardless of the inconvenience.

Ok Mobility- Be Warned Before Using!!
BEWARE OF OK Mobility! This review is from an honest chap with negative feedback being rare for me. The whole OK experience was pretty poor. On collecting the car there were many extra charges- some of which I expect to hear- but a first was €40+ for basic breakdown insurance, otherwise I was responsible for sorting. I felt obliged to take that out. (I also found the person dealing with my booking to be rude, but that’s not why I’m leaving negative comments) Next was collecting the car in the darkest corner of the car park Alicante airport at 11pm. I was told “there was no damage to the car”. I still looked around every panel- twice. I saw no damage. I returned the car just now after 2 weeks careful use and the OK Mobility guy ( same as was on the desk on first collection) went round the whole car and then pointed out a scrape on the underneath area of the bumper that is not even painted. It followed the contour of the bottom of the bumper perfectly. I really wouldn’t have seen it even if I’d of tried -I suspect that you’d be hard to find it unless you were on your knees, or on a car ramp with floodlights; or you knew it was there….. I KNOW I haven’t scraped the car ( I’ve had my wife and daughter in the car at all times and they’re honest as well- they’d have said) Now I suspect I won’t be the only person to fall foul of what could be a handily placed scrape that no one will ever see when they collect that car. They’ll could just keep on charging €200+.
So in my experience you might be better to go with some other hire company and AVOID OK Mobility. Or go on holiday with a professional photographer, with lighting and a car ramp. You have been warned !!!
The Alicante staff at OK mobility are well versed at finding damage on vehicles. Always insist on a printed contract, always check the vehicle and always video it as well. I think they are on commission, they charged us in excess of 400 euros for damage to alloys. We hadn’t damaged the front wheels and in fact the staff member went straight to the wheels when we returned it - we were set up. We never ipark into a space without reversing and the damage was on both sides. Very rude and wouldn’t listen to us, just took the money off our credit card without authorisation. The head office won’t help you either.. Be careful everyone they lift your signature off your deposit payment and transcribe this onto a contract you don’t see - until it’s too late

Sham Artist If This And All Other Reviews Are Accurate
AVOID THIS CAR HIRE COMPANY is my opinion.
I got the distinct impression that they are Sham Artist after I returned the car and they charged me €411 for a small round dent the size of a Euro which was already on the car when they gave it to me. OK Mobility didn’t provide any paperwork showing dents or scratches at the time of the hire; it was after dark and in an underground car park so I’m not sure I could have photographed the dent had I tried. I saw the dent first thing the following morning in daylight, so I’m certain it was there at the time of hire the night before.
I told OK Mobility that I suspect they charge for the same dent over and over to different customers, which they denied.
At the same time, I returned my car, another customer was being charged for damage that they claimed already existed. Since they too didn’t take a photo at the time of hire, so they too were going to have to pay.
I suspect this company generates more income from this kind of thing than from car hire charges.

Horrible
People who work there are rude, speak over you, don't listen to you and will go out of their way not to help you.
Extra fees is just something that every single client walked in their experienced. Car that we got was damaged. We said that in that case we will go and inspect it ourselves and compare it to the file of all the damages of the car. They told us not to do that.
You will not get your car at the time you booked it for. No one cares about your time, they only care if you bring it back late.
This is a company that only uses 3rd parties to sell their services and takes no responsibility for any issues or misunderstandings.
They told us may times that we should have read the terms and conditions, well I did more than once and they were so vague that you could understand any way you want. They told us that the 3rd party company creates those terms and conditions and they have nothing to do with them. Normal companies that actually care about their business, reputations etc would stop working with that website and would find a way to make it better for the clients that complained and had bad experiences with that website.
Don't use them. You may want to because they offer cheaper prices but you will spend a lot more than what you initially pay, plus they will try to find a way to screw you over.
