Extortionate Admin Fees
Must deal with them initially online and all documents must be sent by email. Of course you then realise the cover is pretty limited and upgrading increases it considerably. Worse than that is the extortionate fee they charge for the slightest change, including address. Any increase in premium as a result of the change also seems excessive. They do have a phone line but chargeable changes are cheaper online, massive by phone. One advisor told me not to bother changing my occupation details as it would cost so much to process, yet this can't be a good thing if you want to be sure your info is accurate in case it is queried if you make a claim. Bought breakdown cover at a cheap price as part of the policy and this was satisfactory as it was with the rac, plus their renewal quote was about £70 cheaper than the year before. However I decided to go elsewhere and after a few false starts eventually got my proof of no claims. Not awful, but only for those happy to do everything online and a rather rudimentary service with basic cover

Rip Off Part Timers. Avoid!
RSA echoice for car insurance on Go Compare website. The cheapest for a reason! Dishonest part timers!
Fully comprehensive policy does not give you access to drive other cars. Every other company I've been with does.
The option is not even available to include as an extra, however, you do not know this until you receive the policy wording, which of course you do not get until you take out the policy. You can not call them beforehand as they are an internet only company.
When you try and email them for queries, it takes days for a response because they are not open AT ALL on weekends! Even the weekday hours are office times only!
If you try cancelling the policy, five minutes after you've taken it out (because you've now realised you are not covered to drive other cars), they want a £25 cancellation fee! For having a policy 5 minutes??? Not like you're going to be making a claim in that time!
Even a windscreen repair (not replacement) has an excess of £20! This should be free!
Extremely disappointed in this company, they are as bad as ecar, and that's saying something!
