Acu-disc Cd Is Possibly The Best Disc I Have Ever Used!
So I use discs within my small side business, I offer small run duplication and I am constantly looking around for better pricing on the same old Traxdata cds which I have used religiously for years. I found RPA Distribution, offering an irresistible price on the white top Traxdata cds. So I called in, and got some(600).
The sales person pitched me his casing and a few other disc related items, and like you do.. I said send me some samples. I received my cds the next day, chucked the samples in the draw and got on with my week.
A little later in the week I found myself bored, and thought why not try these new discs. I received 3 samples of this white top acu, and thought I would test the burning... all fine, and I liked the burning dye (silver, associated with high quality dyes).
I use a microboards PF PRO professional printer, which is a mid range cd printer. The acu disc has what they call a full face printable surface, and from what I could see it was metallized which is great as you can print to the middle.
The white was whiter than the Traxdata, if that makes sense, and it had a smooth surface. So all the boxes have been ticked, but can it handle my high resolution printing? The answer is yes, it could. It dried quickly and provided me with a much better print than my usual discs, I was amazed and instantly converted (Presentation is key).
Now I know the discs are great, but what of the price!? Admittedly I spent a little more than usually, but they are the only Discs that boast and offer guarantees of money back or replacements with what they call a no quibble policy (I am an awkward person to deal with, but when someone says do not worry I will give you your money back if you do not like them.. its a done deal and well a little bit of a challenge).
I have been retired for a good few years now, and every penny does count when purchasing. Acu-disc is the only media that offers me security, consistently good burns and perfect printing (Customers and friends comment on the print).
My Summary.
If you haven't fallen asleep already, I would highly recommend the ACU-DISC cdr from RPA . Today I found out the discs have a Anti scratch printable surface (Tried and tested, seems to be a good protective layering) which I have never heard of before and seems unique to the discs.
No failures yet when burning, but I am on the lookout. So all in all, I would say this is the best disc I have used yet and when speaking with the distributors, they made me aware that the acu brand is currently the Best selling disc/brand in the UK which is interesting.
Thank you for reading my review, I hope this has helped!.
