I Thought That Mp3/flacs Sounded Rubbish Until I P
I thought that MP3/flacs sounded rubbish until I put the computer's SPDIF output into one of these Meridian 263 I bought through Ebay for $150.
The great thing about DACs is they don't wear out, and a top quality one from 10 years ago is still pretty damn good now. A computer full of good music and one of these connected to a decent amp and speakers will keep you happy for a long time.
