After hearing loads about Varsity Music / Dj Dhruv and his Bollywood music playlist, I decided to book them for my brother’s engagement and wedding. Also requested for Dj Dhruv. I can’t thank him enough for how amazing he did! He had all our guests up and dancing, and the mix he done for our first dance and throughout the dancefloor was spot on, he is probably one of the most professional Dj’s I have come across with advising me on what was best for the venue.

What can I say about the setup And the service they have provided!!! I asked for their premium setup for the reception and it was really bang on ready 30mins early. I really loved that amazing video wall framing they did, also their lights how was spectacular. It was really mind blowing also the 5 confettis that I asked for during the first dance.

Varsity Music and Dj Dhruv!!!! Thank you so much for making the night absolutely amazing.

Worst possible DJ in the world! He has completely ruined our wedding night, the night that was supposed to be the happiest of our lives.

He started by telling us just 2 days before the wedding that the booth that we booked does not fit at the venue, although we have told him way ahead which venue we have chosen and he has reassured us several times that he has been there before and there were no previous issues. Not only that he did not apologise, he charged the full amount that we paid even though the equipment he brought was a lot inferior to what we discussed.

He did not listen to any of my requests and I do beileve that the bride gets to choose at least a couple of songs that she wants to listen to at her wedding party... well, not according to him.

Also, he did not respect our timeline, although we have planned it to the minute. He played the full lenght of our entrance song when we made it crystal clear that is just while we make our entrance and then he should have announced our first dance. Me and my husband were standing there looking like complete fools, not knowing what was happening, so we started to dance on the song that he played, not being able to do our first dance on the song the WE CHOSE, because he had other plans for us apparently... so if you're thinking about taking dance lessons and paying good money for a brilliant coreography, you should reconsider if you book him as a DJ.

And to top it all up, the most horrible and unforgettable moment of the evening was when he announced the cutting of THE BIRTHDAY CAKE!!!! I think he must of thought the lady in the big white dress was just having a fancy birthday party. And it is all recorded... on our wedding video... forever.
