The Redsound C-loops Works Spot On And Is Very Sim

The Redsound C-Loops works Spot on and is very simple to use. No other sampler can be used in real time as this unit can. Is now a must have in the Live DJ community.

This Is A Brilliant Toy, Well Made, Unbelievably E

This is a brilliant toy, well made, unbelievably easy to use. The bad points I have mentioned let down what is a brilliant bit of kit, you can correct the pitch of your sample using the jog wheel, but in all honesty a sample is digital and if you are mixing into a loop you should only have to worry about correcting the incoming tune, samples should look after themselves. As most monitor outputs on mixers don't have much control over tone and the samples are taken from the headphone socket, the sample can sometimes be a bit heavy on the bass and not crisp, the built in pre-amp makes headphone playback of samples a bit loud sometimes and uncomfortable. The only improvements I can think of apart from correcting the above would be to find a better way of mounting the device, adding another 8 and 16 beat sample button, finding a way of making all samples stay in alignment (if you sample from two parts of a record, one early and one late, then overlap the samples they are sometimes out of time with each other.) the jog dial only delays or advances the whole sample bank not individual samples. The introduction of a clear button would be nice, rather than the cumbersome two button method. But overall this is still worth having even if you want to cheat and use it as a beat counter.
