With Hundreds Of New Devices Launching At The Mark

With hundreds of new devices launching at the market every year it is not easy to follow all trends. But once in a while they release device so good people keep on talking about it for a very long time. Since the announcement of Samsung YP-G50 Android 2.1-based player in September 2010 people just keep comparing it with iPod! I was wondering why))) Now I finally got it and would like to share my thoughts on it with you.

I took the one 8 GB with thinking to enlarge its capacity up to 40 GB in the future (thanks God it has a micro-SD slot for memory enlargement!). First, I was very interested in its sounding qualities, so my testing was very severe  The best part about it is that it has SoundAlive function which enables it to change the sounding according to your tastes. More bass, more instrumental, auto, etc. Just try it while listening to music - it is absolutely amazing to hear how it changes sounding))) The same can be applied to video files (personally, I like Theater function for surrounding sound). G50 supports wide range of files, including MP3, OGG, AAC, M4A, WAV audio and MPEG4, H.263, H.264, WMV, DivX and XviD video.

Because this is Android-based device you will find all Android applications like Android Market, Maps, YouTube, Talk, Google Mail, ThinkFree Office and many others. Using Android Market you can download from more than 200,000 available applications. Many games, many good and useful stuff you'll need - this is all Android and that is why I love it^^. G50 is first of its kind to run on Android, I think. In my opinion, new 2011 year will be marked by many new Android-based players once Samsung has started this race))) And I am pretty sure they will be simply the best!!

This would become your social integrated device if you want, so you can post your pictures (it has 2MP camera), take videos, and share them with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, MySpace, Picasa, etc. I downloaded more than 40 applications to make my life easy))) Well, so far I use most of them checking tomorrow's weather, maps, traffic, subway map, youtube, CNN news and other stuff - fell free to download applications you like).

G50 design slightly reminds the design of Galaxy S - central physical button and sensor buttons on the sides. I love its white color (of course, if I could change it for something more vibrant like green or yellow I would!! ^^) with silver frame - it looks lovely! I hope they are not gonna change it in next generation models, but work more on internal characteristics like better screen or smth))

My general conclusion: G50 is definitely going to attract masses by its design, efficiency, Android base, Wi-Fi and GPS modules which makes it a weighty rival of iPod)) Time will tell=^_^=
