Creative SoundBlaster Extigy - Well...
This is possibly the best 5.1 sound card I have ever had! The fact that it's external bears no difference, actually it looks so much better and impressed all my mates :) I was a bit dubious about an external sound card at first, especially one running on USB, but all my fears have since been quelled. Even running the Extigy through a USB hub still provides excellent quality sound. The remote control is fantastic when you have it setup and get the Creative software to recognise Windows Media Player playlists and it is very easy to use. Setup was a breeze, out the box and staright onto PC. I also use this on a PS2 and XBOX games consoles and it provides fantastic sound.

This Is Good News For Notebook And Ps2 User That S
This is good news for notebook and PS2 user that suffer with bad onboard sound. The Creative SoundBlaster Extigy supports (If used only analog speaker) 16bit/48kHz,high quality EAX, SNR 103dB playback. And support (If used digital 24bit/96kHz speakers) 24bit/96kHz quality. Normal speaker only release 8bit/22kHz and 16bit/44kHz(include Altec Lansing ACS Series which support only 16bit/44kHz. Although, USB Audigy2 NX can really play 24bit/96kHz in analog mode, Extigy still the budget 24bit sound card. Remember used 24bit digital speaker for superior 24bit/96kHz quality audio. One of them is Edifier S2.1D which cost around RM385
