The Card Has A Sturdy Backplate, Although It Does
The card has a sturdy backplate, although it does not cover the back of the processor. Although heavier than my 970, it actually sits straighter. Only downsides: Card looks a bit bland, and software feels a bit cheap.

I upgraded to this card from an Asus STRIX GTX970 DirectCU II OC (one of the most expensive 970's).
Quite frankly, I'm impressed! I can't justify spending £50+ more to get the same card from MSI, Asus etc. You get 3 years warranty as you'd get with any other brand, and is even slightly better performance than MSI or Asus due to the higher base/boost clock.
The card has a sturdy backplate, although it does not cover the back of the processor. Although heavier than my 970, it actually sits straighter.
Only downsides: Card looks a bit bland, and software feels a bit cheap. Neither is an issue, in fact there's no real reason to install the software unless OCing :P
