I teach in an underserved school district in Jersey City. Due to COVID-19, we have to teach online and I would like to post some science DVDs on google classroom.So I have to rip science content from disc first. WinX dvd ripper helps me a lot. Maybe I'm not a completist. So I understand that the man-made product is far from perfection. I have more than one DVD ripper on my desktop. If I encounter failure using handbrake, I would resort to winx dvd ripper. If winx lets me down, I choose makemkv to have another shot. Generally, it's impossible to totally count on one dvd ripper to rip all of your dvd discs. I use handbrake to rip my unprotected discs, makemke to copy blu ray disc and winx to decrypt and backup my hollywood dvds. In general, winx has lived up to its promise to trouble-free convert most of my DVDs to MP4. Hence, I think it's worth its price.

A 2 hour film takes almost 2 hours to rip, this is ridiculous.

I also question the reputation of Digiarty (WinXDVD owners), Google hits for DVD rippers returns pages for this software, and the claim that it is free in anyway is WRONG, only the first 5 minutes of the DVD are ripped with the "try before you buy", so why pretend it's free? The claim that a DVD is ripped in 5 minutes is also just wrong. They also claim it's the fastest ripper in the world, again wrong, Handbrake (free) and others rippers are twice, or more, faster.

Over the years, WinX DVD Ripper has topped the Free DVD Ripper search engine in Google. It’s widely spread good reputation is actually due to its great DVD ripping quality.

The easy to use interface attracts my attention at the very first time. If the DVD ripping tool is hard to operate, I will choose to give up, let alone use for long time.

Load DVD --> Choose the output format --> Start DVD ripping. Done!

The DVD ripping quality is also excellent. I once get annoyed by other tool for the audio out of sync. But it never happened on WinX DVD Ripper. Every ripped DVD movie plays very smoothly on my media player.
