Acer Aspire Z5801

They dont even know what's customer service means. Unresponsive customer support, not very likable staff.

We bought 2 of these, the comuter itself is solid, but the keyboard is the worst design I've ever come across, it's sort of wireless, with a conventional qwerty keyboard, and a a touchscreen number pad. 1 keyboard didn't work straight out of the box. The replacement worked for 2 weeks, before the mouse button started sticking, and the keyboard started to be sluggish in responding. The touchpad number pad is awkward, and hard to use. Acer support will only replace the exact keyboard, but will NOT give me a better designed version. SO I'm forced to use an old USB keyboard that we had kicking around as a spare. Very Dissapointed, and will NEVER buy Acer again.

This System has some great features for the student and general business user. I use it for correspondence, email, general business applications and emergency. and its excellent battery life makes The Core i5 version of this Computer allows it.

I wanted a good size screen to edit photo's and saw the new generation of all in one PC's. I plumped for the Acer because of good technical review and despite having had issues with Acer years ago.

Pro's are simple to setup, nice big 23" screen with touchscreen (unnecessary really), lots of USB ports, big hard drive,4gb RAM is plenty for me, nice keyboard, only 1 power cable needed, TV included.

Cons are fan noise- gets annoying after a while, keyboard had to be returned and took 2 weeks to get the replacement back, a little heavy, expensive and could have Windows pro for this price.

Overall the big screen, fast processor and lack of cables make this good to own.
