I Bought The Acer Tm2303wlmi Because I'm An Msc Un

I bought the Acer TM2303WLMI because I'm an MSc university student and needed a laptop to make my studies easier i.e. writing my essays in bed! I did a lot of research and limited my spending to £700. After much searching I realised that for the price and spec, Acer offer the best packages in laptops, and narrowed my choice down to this one (£599), and the next version up with a centrino processor (£699).

I decided for what I needed a celeron would do just fine. Plus I spent the £100 I saved on 3 years warranty with accidental damage from Acer.

Don't be fooled by its celeron processor. It is a fast laptop and serves its purpose! It has a built in wireless, a dvd-writer (which other brands in the same price range lack, and everything else you would expect from a mid-range laptop, but at entry-level price).

The only negative that I would mention is that it is quite a wide model (widescreen afterall), which makes it a bit big to handle. It is a very thin laptop but also very wide. I would not recommend it if you are wanting a laptop for use on the move!

I bought mine from Tesco off the shelf for £599 in October 2004, and think it was excellent value for money!
