The Afina 820P is a good, cheap laptop which could be great little machine to travel around with instead of a 2 ton Sony Vaio at the same price!

After Only Two Months My Averatec Afina 820p Lapto
After only two months my Averatec Afina 820P Laptop could not be turned on and had to be returned to the factory for repair, the repair took about six weeks.
Now the battery pack has gone dead (after 2 years) and no replacement is available, the factory tells me that they have no immediate expectations either. The only replacement I could locate was a rebuilt unit with a 30 day guarantee for $250.00.
