I'm Shocked From The Low Ratings Given On This Sit
I'm shocked from the low ratings given on this site. had this for just under 3 years before the dvd writer went, and just recently i'm struggling to get the laptop started (that is just under 3 and a half years). It can be a bit slow at times, but it's reasonable. All in all a great laptop

I Bought This About 18 Months Ago With An Extended
I bought this about 18 months ago with an extended Fujitsu warranty. It went back after about 6 months with a failed hard disk (bad luck I guess) and a disintegrating keyboard.
The keyboard recently started to fall apart again but when I tried to return it under warranty this time Fujitsu UK stated they dont cover keyboards - they are classed as wear and tear items.
Dont buy a Fujitsu Laptop. Once the keyboard fails its useless, and the manufacturer will not honour the warranty

This Has Been A Bad Laptop, Very Fragile And Now A
This has been a bad laptop, very fragile and now about to be replaced with a more reliable machine. In just 12 months the keyboard has broken, the back panel has detached itself and the lid has developed cracks in the area of the hinges. I had a Dell machine before this for nearly 4 years without trouble. My advice - leave well alone!

I Have Had My Machine Approximately The Same Time
I have had my machine approximately the same time as the last contributor. I have have zero problems with it - but then I have replaced Windows with Kubuntu Linux.
I suspect all the problems that the last contributor suffers from - freezing, slow running etc, are caused by Winoze rather than the machine.
I would highly recommend this computer.

This Was Excellent Value Laptop At The Time (aroun
This was excellent value laptop at the time (around 1.5-2 years ago). It has crystal clear widescreen. Reasonable number of USB ports (3) and wi-fi was and still is great.I was over the moon when I got this laptop. It had, at the time, quite sophisticated specs for '£499. I was ready to, knowing how things are progressing in laptop world, upgrade certain parts, but....apart from the comments above, upgrading this laptop (memory, hard drive, dvd/rw drive, etc) is very difficult to do as those parts are virtually unapproachable to the ordinary user like I am who do understand how to unscrew few screws and change certain parts.
Whole performance now is a let down already after 1.5-2 years of having this laptop. I would suggest not to buy this one if you wish to have laptop that will last you more than a year.
