Not Just The Best Blackberry...
...But one of the best smartphones, full stop. Okay, I'll admit it, I'm a blackberry fan. But while I loved the early BBs for text/email, I was never a fan of them as "just" a phone. The 9900 went a long way to fixing this but, for calls, I still preferred to use my iPhone. But the Classic has just fixed this for me. I love the bigger screen - it's much more usable than the one one the 9900 and big enough to be practical - without becoming a mini-tablet and becoming unpocketable. The BB 10 OS is excellent. I'll be glad when a few more apps turn up in the Android store but the ones preloaded onto the phone are the key ones I'd want anyway.
The trackpad is even better than on the 9900 and the keyboard is....well, it's the whole point of the BB experience. Previous Blackberries were great but always flawed in some respect. Finally, the Classic can stand up alongside any of the other smartphones on the market. Okay, if you've bought into the Apple ecosystem, then you want an iPhone (and Watch and iPad). If you need to game the. You probably want a full-form screen like an HTC. But if you want to make calls, text, email, type, do stuff on FB and browse on a fast, responsive phone with a fantastic keyboard, brilliant battery life and excellent quality, then the Classic is well worth checking out.
The fact that they're no longer mainstream works in our favour too. Cheaper than the competition and stand-out-from-the-masses different.
