I Can See That There Are Already Quite A Few Revie

I can see that there are already quite a few reviews on this subject but because i felt quite strongly about it at the time I would like to add my personal review.

The clickeable touch-screen is not responsive or accurate, the phone is sluggish and the navigation confusing. It is not clear how many apps are running at the same time draining battery and data transfer speed. Typing messages and emails was ok after a while but not great. I deliberately chose this over the iPhone because I do not believe in hypes and because reading some product reviews it became clear that BlackBerry is the weapon of choice for best performance push email. As I needed the phone to stay in touch with work when travelling and abroad I chose the Storm.

I cannot say how disappointed I was with it. The best bits were the camera function and the little pouch that came with it to keep the screen from scratching.

After 14 days of excessive testing I sent the phone back and exchanged it for an iPhone which was probably the best decision of the year.

I Guess Folks Don't Appreciate What Blackberry Has

I guess folks don't appreciate what blackberry has to offer on this smartphone. I love the majority of their smartphone lines and this is one of them.

I found it to have an amazing array of expanded functionality and it was easy to use. Quite a must in your list of gadgets if you want to have an organized career. The design is sleek and compact. Quite durable too if you'll ask me.

Just Buy An Iphone. I Have Been Trying Not To Go T

Just buy an iphone. I have been trying not to go that route. But its time. the lagging issue with the blackberry storm is unbelievable. i can make a call and not be able to adjust any controls throughout the call because the blackberry is processing something. the support for the phone has been horrible. The provider does all it can with rebooting blahblah. but it still does not fix the issue. Good by blackberry, i am going to become an apple user. :(

I Have Owned The Storm Now For Over 2 Months And I

I have owned the storm now for over 2 months and I must admit that at first I felt a little bit let down. I had trouble setting up the media sync on the PC, it would run very slow and for some reason you can't lock the keys only the screen. But after using it and downloading some apps from the blackberry store I have now managed to get everything to work and can lock what I want when I want. It has also made the phone quicker and to be honest I prefer it to the iphone. I wouldn't change this for anything else. All the problems I had could be resolved.

I Have Used The Blackberry Storm On A Daily Basis

I have used the BlackBerry Storm on a daily basis for about 4 months now. It has its quirks and I had many troubles with it locking up which required a battery removal reboot about twice a month.

After the latest software update download I installed about a month ago, all is looking up for this phone. I haven't had to do the rebooting like before, the screen doesn't freeze hardly ever now, and it is becoming a user friendly device. Finally!

The Storm is still not a phone you can hold on your shoulder and it never will be. However, texting and e-mailing is for the most part trouble free. You may have to adjust your settings to optimize the keypad for the way you use it though.

The camera still is pitiful, though. 3.2 megapixels of blurry.

I Have Been Using Blackberry's For 7 Years Now, Ha

I have been using Blackberry's for 7 years now, had all sorts of models. I cannot emphasise enough how poor the Storm performs. I wanted to like it, but after 4 weeks I literally want to stamp it to pieces.

New and annoying features:

1. On a call, your ear reacts with the touch screen and turns on the mute button.

2. Battery life is so poor I used a full battery by lunchtime... I struggled to get a full day out of it.

3. Try texting or typing and one is forever recorrecting. Its impossible to type fast.

4. The weird browser was just annoying

5. I found it was actually hilding my business back as I coudl not respond to anyone fast enough....

The only good thing about this phone is the rather nice clock function when sat in the media cradle.... thats where it is now. Now being used as a bedside alarm clock nothing more.

I reverted back to my Pearl and could operate normally again.

The Touch Screen Functionality Is Amazing As The B

The touch screen functionality is amazing as the BlackBerry Storm screen itself clicks in. The point of this feature is to protect against accidentially touching the screen when unlock. The phone is a reasonable sixe compared to other smart phones. But the best feature i would say is the quality of the screen. When i played a video the picture was clear unlike some phones.

I Couldn't Wait To Get A Storm When It Was First R

I couldn't wait to get a Storm when it was first realases and was initially very happy with it but the honeymoon didn't last long at all.

I've had this model for just under 6 months now and am already on my third handset which has also recently stopped working properly. With my first handset the screen simply froze and wouldn't do anything. Vodafone replaced it (with a reconditioned model) which stopped working after about a week. This time keys stopped working. Again Vodafone replaced with a reconditioned handset but this one died too - during calls people would go for minutes without being able to hear what I was saying.

This time Vodafone offered to replace it with a brand new handset so I tried the HTC Diamond but it just wasn't a Blackberry, so they are now going to replace it with a brand new Bold.

I'm so disappointed because I thought the Storm would rock but it simply failed to meet my expectations. Blackberry is definitely top of the class when it comes to smartphones but Storm is a major let down.

This Blackberry Storm Should Not Have Been Release

This Blackberry Storm should not have been released, it is an awful piece of engineering. It is very very slow, it does not let you hold the phone to your face as your cheek acitvates the other buttons.
