Excellent Phone
Wow, what a phone, it's easier to say what it hasn't got! It's absolutly amazing, knocks the i phone 4s for six. If I had to be really critical, on the odd occassion the photo's taken without flash inside can be a bit grainy, but put the flash on and all is revealed. The other thing that may be a problem to heavy users would be the battery life, no more than a day if you use the phone a lot.
Useless
Really quick turn around sending my phone back after replacing my cracked screen. Sent my phone to them exactly as requsted, yet my phone came back minus the back cover needed to make my phone work on the htc desire hd. phoned them up straight away and their reply was i sent the phone without it. They either broke or lost it and to save them the expense of a new replacement cover, said it was my fault. Md was totally unhelpful, i was without my phone for 4 days until i got a replacement that cost me £12.99. NEVER EVER EVER use this company again !!!!

Very quick, 4 local shops couldn't unlock it, this was cheaper and took 30 mins from paying till the phone was unlocked, longest part was waiting for the unlock code!
Would recommend 100%.

Htc Desire Hd
I bought this phone hoping it would've been a huge step up from my original HTC Desire (aka Bravo). Unfortunately for me this was not the case. Not only did it cost over $100 more than the original desire at the time the HD version was released, but i found it to lack certain features I wanted. First off I did not like the fact that the HD version did not have an amoled screen like it's predecessor. The fact that the screen was significantly larger (4.3in vs. 3.7in) did somewhat help.
Now i am probably one of the few people who does not use a data plan on their smartphone. I much rather use the free wifi connections when i need them, so the offline GPS antenna is essential for me when I travel. I noticed that there was little if any improvement in GPS reception from the original Desire. Sure once the phone gets a lock (usually 1 to 5 mins) it tends to keep that lock and in my opinion it is much more precise than online GPS navigation. The photo/video quality of this HD phone is nothing exceptional and honestly enough I think the original Desire took better shots. The one thing I did appreciate of the HD version is the fact that it had more internal memory. Regardless of what was advertised (I believe it was at least 500mb) the desire had only 120mb of real internal memory. Unfortunately it is a recurring problem. Even the HD Desire was advertised as having 4gb of internal memory when in reality it had a lot less. Honestly, in hindsight, I would not have bought this phone but rather would've waited for a better one.

Best Ever
Ive had phones over 20 years. My first one needed a shoulder carry pack for the battery that lasted 10 minutes.
This is the complete phone, Just add opera for mobile and some fun apps and it is the best ever. Beats the iphone4s hands down. (I loved the 1st iphone, which was such a massive break through at the time)So fair play to Apple and Steve Jobs.
Only draw back is the battery life. I keep a charger at work and a quick half hour boost gets me through the day.

Who Needs A Tablet?!
Another stellar effort from HTC, the Desire HD is something of a titan. Smoothly running Android with HTC's very slick Sense overlay, using the phone is a doddle.
In terms of the hardware, everything is first rate. The snappy processor keeps the phone happily ticking along, even with several apps running at a time. The only real gripe is the very small (read non-existent) onboard memory for data storage - you are forced to use a micro SD card. To HTC's credit, however, a memory card is bundled with the phone.
Then there's the screen... Expansive, bright and sharp. Great for browsing, video and games. Though that's not to say that it's not similarly useful for more ordinary things such as typing messages as well.
Battery life is, as you may expect, something that is found to be wanting. Use this phone heavily, and you will struggle to see a full day through on a single charge. Most users should expect to have to charge the battery every night - at the least. But for those who are able to deal with this, the Desire HD more than makes up for it otherwise.
Recommended highly.
I am totally wowed and prepeard to take the next step now.

Review Of Desire Hd
Me and my dad have this phone and if you are thinking about getting one then go for it. It is the best phone of its type! the only thing I would say was the memory isn't very good if you dont have a micro sd.

A Good All Round Phone
I was a little aprhesive about moving from a Blackberry to a HTC, but thought it was time to get something with a bit fun to it!
While my old blackberry had a much better battery life, and was also better with reception, this fun has a very good screen and easy to use interface.
The speed at which the phone moves around is seemless, and I would say at any gadget lover will enjoy this phone.

Exceptional Htc Desire Hd
The HTC desire HD is a good phone with lots to play around with and apart from the standard calling features it has a brilliant screen display - the screen quality is exceptional and it has a HD camera and video which is good quality, allowing video calls. The other alternatives you can use include, Surfing the web via 3G or Wi-Fi, App Store, Emails, Texts and Games.
This phone has bundles of quality, although I have to agree with the other reviewer's comments that, you need to charge the phone fully when you first get it to make the most of battery life and remember to charge it every night and of course the battery will drain faster if you use it 24/7. But all in all it is a quality piece of technology.
