This Phone Is Also Called The Corby And Other Name
This phone is also called the Corby and other names depending on in which country it is sold. If you do buy one then I strongly suggest you look at the youtube videos by a young man called techsteve21. Indeed it would be worthwhile to watch these superb videos if considering buying one. They take you through every aspect of setting up and using the phone plus realising all its potentials.
Whilst the phone is aimed at teenagers and the like, it is a great unit for all. I am an OAP and have no difficulty with it what-so-ever. Essentially if you don't want to pay for an Iphone but want something up-market at a realistic price then this is the kiddie. The camera function is particularly easy to use. Of course texting is a doddle with the qwerty keyboard. Mine cost £125 including P&P off Ebay but that was a particularly good price as the phone was unlocked. I just stuck a PAYG card in it and it fired up instantly.
Apologies. On my comment above I omitted the name of the supplier. On Ebay they trade as:- Deals2UK
Their public name is given as:- Eurosmart Trading,
unit 7E
66 friday street,
Leicester,

At the end of November I bought a Samsung Genio Slide B5310 off these people who are heavy Ebay sellers. This was delivered early December. The item was opened on Christmas Day and brought into use Boxing Day. It was noted there was a major fault on the item. The phone connects but then freezes showing a software analysis on the screen. In short the phone is faulty. I advised them of this and attempted to clear the fault by doing the recommended re-set, this worked for 24/36 hours then the same fault returned. In a nutshell the phone has a major software fault. I asked for a refund or a replacement and was advised that as 7 days had elapsed I couldn't have either. My advice therefore is deal with this company at your own risk because if goods are faulty or develop a fault later they will not refund or replace
