This Is A Top Phone And I Would Recommend It To An
This is a top phone and I would recommend it to anyone. Yes, it's a big phone and not light (you wouldn't want to carry it in your shirt pocket) but the clarity and depth of the screen make up for that. The shiny back is a finger print magnet, but wipes easily.
The i8910HD is odd in that it's a Samsung phone with Nokia software (S60 V5)which is found on phones like the Nokia N97 and 5800.
The phone responds to finger touch, not a stylus, and is very responsive. You can add loads of apps to it (quite a number being free) but it seems to struggle with Nokia's OVI store. The i8910HD has Nokia software and the store sell nokia apps, but it doesn't seem compatable.
Once you get to grips with the layout of the phone you will love it. All the icons are easilly accessable and not complicated. The camera and video are amazing, so much so that you would never need an external camera. The internet works fine and connects to WIFI easily. If you're into Facebook and Twitter there is a download called snaptu which compliments the i8910HD and works really well.
Its also good as a phone, clarity of calls and volume are fine.
In summary, the Samsung i8910HD is a quality phone and well worth buying. The apps are nowhere near as good as you would get on an iphone, nor is the scrolling, but the camera, video, screen and bluetooth are miles above the iphone and by owning one you'll feel a little more exlusive.

I Got The Samsung I8910 Hd About 2 Months Ago, And
I got the Samsung i8910 HD about 2 months ago, and as I've never used a Symbian phone before, it took me a few days to find my way around the apps etc and just doing everyday things 'quickly'. This is the same with all phones, as we all know.
Once I HAD got used to it; tailored the settings, icon postions in the main menus etc for ease of use and speed....I was away!
I'm now really pleased with it and so glad I got this over the 3GS, which I was also considering. The battery life was initially poor, but improved after a week of re-charging. I've also now updated the firmware to the latest IG2 and it's sorted out a few minor issues too, along with increasing the battery life more, it's now got HQ audio to go with the HD recording - this was previously a lower bitrate not suited to HD. All done now...and loving it!!
All in all - I'm really pleased with the i8910...get one, you'll love it!
