Great Performance, Only Limited By Battery Life

I've had my Xperia S for nearly 6 month, and am very happy with it.

It's an Android Smartphone with a fantastic display and very good processing power, compared to most other smartphones and tablet PCs on the market today.

The styling is quite distinctive, having square-ish edges and clear band around it near the base.

The touch screen is responsive and the user interface fairly intuitive. It has good connectivity, including HDMI so that you can plug it into a TV if you wish to view content on a large screen.

The camera is OK. The results always look great on the camera's screen but not as good on a laptop or TV.

Games run smoothly on the phone, although the phone can get quite warm after half an hour or so of game play.

My phone needs charging every day, and the onboard battery usage stats say that this is mainly down to the power consumption of the display.

Solid Phone, Great Design, High Tech

I've had this phone for two months and I feel now is the time to write a review on it.

Design - This is what attracted me to the phone; the large screen, transparent bar and the overall 'edgey' shape.

Features - This is an android phone so it pretty much has everything every other android phone. Amazing UI for emails, great for texting and typing - the touchscreen type is very accurate. The quality of the camera beats my Canon 300D (12MP).

Now most important of all is the battery life. When I first bought this phone I could only get about 6 hours average which was really annoying since I had to constantly have it on charge ( I work at a desk so it wasn't a big deal) but for days where I'd be travelling I would really have to watch that bar.

But a couple of weeks ago there was an update which eliminated the battery life problem - I could get about 16 hours with basic usage otherwise about 12 hours with constant use which is good enough and not obstructive.

Would highly recommend this phone for everything from design, features, battery life, signal strength and convenience.
