The Canon Ixus 430 is not a bad camera at all. It is quite heavy compared to it's size, which means that it stays still in your hand when shooting. Have had this camera with me all over the world and no matter where you pull it up, it does the work. Make sure you have a high speed memory card to cut down the writing time...

The Canon Ixus 430 Is A Very Good Digital Camera,
The Canon Ixus 430 is a very good digital camera, and it looks really sexy (as far as a camera gets). The memory card it came with was small (32MB) so I upgraded to a 512MB, and now I go away with no worries of running out of space. I even do videos on it.
It feels really well made and put together... almost German like.
As they don't make this anymore I would opt for one with a greater optical zoom, but this is a truly brilliant camera.
