Canon A480 Review
The one thing that stood out to me on this camera was the range or features for the price. It also looks pleasant on the eye,one of the nicest looking Compact cameras out there.
The camera shoots in 10 Mega pixels.Quite big when the camera came out but 12-14 mega pixels are becoming more common. It has a 2.5'' fixed screen which is large enough to review your photos.
It has a built in flash with a range of around 3 meters. It takes to AA batteries and an SD or SDHC card. The batteries last around 200-300 shots which is decent for a compact camera.
Having started to use the camera,i found it easy to use,the menu system is basic, but, easy to use.
For the money this camera packs many scene modes.eg.fireworks,snow,beach.etc
and a video recorder in 480p (in beautiful colours) it is a solid option.
The macro and super macro modes are very impressive aswell,i took some pictures that looked like they could have been taken with and slr.
The picture of the fly is an example of the macro mode.
