The Casio Exilim Ex Z750 Digital Camera Has Incred

The Casio Exilim EX Z750 digital camera has incredible battery life! Unfortunately, it has a limited flash range. A manual is not included and the manual is too bulky to download and print. However, the camera is dependable, and it is especially nice for outdoor adventures. It has many features, and you get a little plastic LCD cover. Do not bother with a second battery. Get extra memory and a small case instead.

The Casio Exilim Ex Z750 Camera Picture Quality Is

The Casio Exilim EX Z750 camera picture quality is outstanding, although the reliability is non existent. The lens assembly got stuck on mine after 8 months, reporting 'lens error', causing it to retract only partially back into the body. This is a direct cause of the camera being triggered on accidentally while inside the case, which can be easily achieved. The large LCD is also its downfall, as mine leaked after eight months. The Casio engineer said it was due to the lens retracting into it, so Casio has helpfully refused to repair it under warranty.

Just a follow up on the continuing saga. After failing to get Casio to repair the LCD screen under warranty, I decided to repair it myself because it works out to be a lot cheaper than paying Casio to do it. It can be done, provided you know how to use a soldering iron and have a very small screwdriver. If you are interested, the details can be found at http://www.ok2life.com/welcome/index/35.html

I Have Had A Few Digital Cameras. I Tend To Replac

I have had a few digital cameras. I tend to replace them every year, and I thought I would be staying with Sony after my W1, which was a marvellous camera. We all gamble when we buy anything, but I did my homework and the Casio Exilim EX Z750 was crying out to be bought... so I did.

I don't truly believe there is another camera out there to touch this one. The speed of use and the quality of the pictures it produces surely cannot come from one so small and beautiful? The video... you just have to see the quality!!!

I loved my Sony, but this just blows it away.

The Casio Exilim Ex Z750 Is My 5th Pocket Digicam,

The Casio Exilim EX Z750 is my 5th Pocket Digicam, it does exactly what I want takes superb pictures and has lots of user overides. It's well built and looks stylish. The optical viewfinder is very small but at least it's there. The battery life is great, 150 pictures over a 4 day weekend with lots of reviewing and it was still going fine. It's very quick to start and the 7.2Mp images are sharp and well exposed. The flash range is disappointing though.

Casio Exilim Ex Z750 - Everyone Says That You Can'

Casio Exilim EX Z750 - Everyone says that you can't beat a Canon lens system. They are the camera makers, everyone else makes calculators.

I mention Canon because it is the only decent camera in that size range. (Ixus 700)

The Casio z750 out classes. Remeber now 'a' days it is all about the electronics. Casio is 5 years superior to the Canon when it comes to the electronic features. The number of features is phenomenal.

If that's not good enough, the move features top it all off. 30Mins DVD quality video on one 1GB chip. Who needs a camcorder? It even zooms whilst filming, unlike every other camera out there.

The battery life is unbeatable!

I had the Ixus 40 which is, as far as I have researched, identical in features to the Ixus 700. Its so usless in comparison to the Casio that I've given it to my mum!

Wow - What An Awesome Camera! The Salesperson Told

Wow - what an awesome camera! The salesperson told me - "Casio, they make watches you should buy from a known camera maker like Canon".

I searched the internet, compared features and decided to ignore him. (This following review really sold it to me: http://www.kenrockwell.com/casio/exz750.htm#intro).

I'm so glad I did! I've had a Canon camera for a long time, but the batter always let me down. Its a shame having to carry an extra one, and always turn the screen off - but even the newer canon's seem short on battery life. The Z750 lasted 2 days of continuous use - I took about 600 pictures and 20 videos.

I can't begin to tell you my amazement of innovative features like - recording sound with your picture (take a snapshot then talk about what it was - perfect for later creating video CD's). Or even more brilliantly - recording past history - no I'm not crazy, a 5 second buffer keeps recording so when you decide to get that little mpg4 movie clip you didn't miss what just happened.

Why has no-one thought of these before - ingenious!

The pictures are great. The camera is also very fast!!!!

The camera also appears as a disk on your computer so you can use any software to get the shots off (even just copy paste - with usb2.0 is very fast).

Finally - there are lots of manual controls along with really cool Best Shot settings that set the camera up for you for night shots, or landscape etc. Even neater - you can take a picture using your custom settings and then add it to the best shop menu to recall those settings later (great for tweaking night shots without a flash, and high iso - and then recalling it time and time again).

This is a camera that will grow with you. There are some messages on other camera forums indicating potential lens errors (but then I saw those for canon cameras as well) and I haven't had this problem.

I gave image quality a 9/10 as I am quite picky - and to get 10 I'm not sure any small camera can achieve this. However the whole package is absolutely stunning - this is a fun and ingenious camera. More vendors should look at what Casio has done.
