Fuji Finepix A403

I've had this camera for 5 years now and wouldn't even consider changing it. I'm not big into photography but take lots of pics on holidays and at family birthdays, christenings, weddings. It's been through them all without a bit of bother. I've had toddlers attempt to eat it, it's been banged, dropped etc over the course of 5 years and still works great. The battery life with regular batteries is poor, but I use rechargeable with no problem. I'd guestimate that at this stage I've taken thousands of photos on it and when people see them printed, they're always complimenting them.

This is without Doubt the worst Camera I have ever Used. Mine broke after I had taken about 300 pics.

I had a Fuji A403 bought for my birthday as I wanted a small digital camera to possibly take pictures to place items for sale on e-bay etc. I already own a SLR camera.

Great little camera - easy to pop in your pocket when out and about. I still take my SLR with me too! Wish that would fit in my pocket too!

This camera is very easy to use - my only real criticism is that the screen is quite small and dark when taking photos inside.

Have taken some lovely pictures with this camera - especially abroad in sunny conditions.

I have recommended it to a friend - she was also pleased with hers.

Overall - a great first digital camera.

I bought a Fuji Finepix A403 cheaply as a customer return to use where I would not want to take my Olympus C-5060. It isn't worth taking pictures with this because they have a nasty colour cast, and it would cost a fortune in batteries. Will sell on e-bay; perhaps some kid will get it for 50p and have some fun with it (if they buy an AC adaptor)!

Fuji Finepix A403 - I would not recommend this camera. I have rarely taken good pictures indoors where a flash is required. The flash is so close to the lens it picks up dust in the atmosphere and shows white blobs over the picture. Can vary from one blob to a picture covered in blobs. I have written to Fuji and they recommend using an external flash!!!
