The Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 is a great, easy to use digital camera, with very quick auto focus, and lots of optional features. It has video mode with sound, and lots more. I would recommend this camera to someone who is starting off in digital photography because of its simplicity.

I Bought The Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 Digital Came
I bought the Konica Minolta Dimage Z6 digital camera in November 2005 after my last camera got stolen. What a revelation!
I have taken some absolutely brilliant pictures with this camera, and I am no pro. I just take pictures of the family. You can have great fun with this. My camera with a 1Mb memory card holds about 700 pictures, so you can take hundreds of bad pictures, and pull about a dozen really good ones out.
You have several different auto exposures which are self explanatory in picture format There is no technical jargon here sorry; one is auto, which will take excellent pictures, automatically adjusting the focus, light and aperture for you. As you start to play with the camera, you find the other settings are great. One for action shots, one for sunset, one for landscape, one for portrait, and one for night portrait, all in a very simple easy place to find beside your right hand thumb.
The one fault that I have found though, is that you can take a picture, which on the massive 2 inch screen looks bad, but as soon as you download it onto the PC, it looks great, so try to remember this before deleting any pictures.
There is also an anti-shake option, which is a great help, as you cannot take a picture if you have too much shake (you can turn this off in the main menu if you like).
If you want a digital camera that looks like a film loading camera, then this is for you. If you want a camera that has an amazing zoom, this is for you, and if you want a camera that takes brilliant pictures with the minimum of effort (think in the pub or night club bladdered - great pictures), then this is the camera for you.
I can not praise this camera enough. It is brilliant! Even my wife can use it without any problems. GO AND BUY IT NOW! YOU WON'T BE DISSAPOINTED!!
