Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC70

Although the Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC70 is a very good camera the warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. I have had an ongoing problem with not getting audio when connected directly to the TV, had the camera for 8 months only, thought the problem was in the connecting wire. One day, after a trip to mexico the LCD screen went black and never came back, I checked my receipt and thought I was covered and brought it back to dealer who sent it to Panasonic. They sent it back and said it was beyond repair and they voided the warranty as they said it had water damage.

That camera NEVER saw any water except in the atmosphere it was in, I am very upset and will NEVER buy Panasonic anything again.

Thanks for nothing Panasonic.

Panasonic DMC-LC70 - I loved this camera, my second digital one. Very stylish and simple to use. I did not think that the batteries ran down too fast, coupled with the rechargeable batteries supplied it was not an issue. Has anyone else had a problem with their camera? Brought from a French company called Pixmania and I would not use again.

Panasonic DMC-LC70 looks attractive. I ordered mine direct from Panasonic, I did not receive it for three weeks and on checking found that it had been sitting with Parcel Force most of that time. Panasonic were very helpful and said that Parcel Force had said they would deliver the next day. Stayed in all day and nothing happened. Panasonic kept phoning to check. The following day Parcel Force did not come. Panasonic then sent it through another carrier. I need a camera to point and click, it is probably a bit complicated for me, but it looks pretty.
