The Price Is The Only Selling Point Since This Dvd

The price is the only selling point since this DVD player definitely doesn't put up any features to cost more than US$10-15. Any price above that is a major rip off. Picture and Sound are nowhere near good. Playback isn't smooth. Doesn't read about 10% of the DVDs that I own. Format support isn't acceptable.

We have several of these units around our home. Apart from Cyberhomes MAJOR error in fitting underated PSU boards for a short spell, we have always found them excellent in terms of performance, appearance and useability. Our players, after de-regionalisation have always played everything short of a beer mat! If you are experiencing disc read problems, take your player apart and (carefully!) clean the optics with a cotton bud and alcohol. Don't use proprietry 'lens cleaners' - they do mor harm than good. If read problems persist, there may be an intermittent break in the ribbon connector between PCB and laser assembly. Hope this helps.

I Am Now On My Second Cyberhome Dvd Player And Bot

I am now on my second cyberhome DVD player and both the units i have had developed the same fault... it doesn't recognise that there is a disc in it!

In my experience, they seem very unreliable.

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone... Spend a bit more and get a more reliable player.

The Cyberhome Ch-dvd 400 Is The Second Cyberhome D

The Cyberhome CH-DVD 400 is the second Cyberhome DVD player I've had, and again, excellent value.

The styling may be a bit doubtful, and it doesn't feel that solid, but it plays every format and region I've tried. It is about the size of a hardback book and costs £20, which is outstanding value!

The Cyberhome Ch-dvd 400 Is Now Only £39.99

The Cyberhome CH-DVD 400 is now only £39.99 in WHSmith. I got mine 14 months ago (2 actually) and it's been great without exception! The 2nd one was for my folks and blew a fuse 3 weeks ago (probably lack of use).......no problem to WHS.....instant refund! I occasionally take mine on family holidays as a back-up to rainy days. Easily packed in an overnight bag and scart or 2 pin connections to a TV (the basic leads are supplied but you'll have to buy the scart lead though).
